If problem of illegal immigrants coming to Manipur from Myanmar and Bangladesh illegally is not controlled with firm hand/ determination by both Central and state governments, it may spread to other NE states too in the very near future.
Surprisingly, Mizoram's political leaders never say No to such illegal immigrants till date.
These illegal immigrants after sheltering for a year or two they used to create veng/ village of their own and later, after staying ten years or so they may say that land belongs to them claiming as ancestral land......
Hence, all indigenous communities of all NE states must be aware of this and therefore, all illegal immigrants should be identified and deported imdtly.

Land reforms must be started with equal opportunities to all indigenous people. Kukis want separate administration or Kukiland. But why kill meiteis, meiteis had no issues with them. Meiteis maintained friendly relations with every community and talk about coexistence and territorial integrity of Manipur. On May 3rd 2023, meiteis were caught unprepared. No meitei could imagine that they will be attacked in such a large scale. But we came to know later that kukis had already planned this attack since a few decades. They had already purchased sophisticated weapons with their drug money. We came to know that all the kuki employees in the Manipur Secretariat had already taken mass leave before May 3rd. Kuki employees in other institutions had taken leave already. However Meitei doctors and nurses posted in Churachandpur hospital were killed and raped on May 3rd. Meiteis were actually caught unprepared. Still now they do not have much weapons nor money.
Now let's come to the cause. BJP govt in Manipur was established with the help of kuki SOO group. All the kuki MLAs were sponsored by kuki SOO group. All militants and drug business are no other than Kuki SOO group. So BJP govt in Manipur is established with the sole support of Kuki SOO group. Another point is, if you remember, in the beginning of this conflict the chief of Kuki National Army( a signatury in SOO) announced publicly that they helped Modi's election campaign in a big way in 2019 general election. We all believe that the present BJP govt in the central has taken big financial help from Kuki SOO group and has also taken help in establishing BJP govt in Manipur. Another aspect is that the central govt has also been taking intelligence support of Kuki SOO group and obtaining intelligence information constantly which is a big help to the central forces in suppressing Naga militants and Meitei insurgent operations in the Indo- Mayanmar border. This is the reason why Modi- Saha Govt is not giving power to the central forces deployed in Manipur to act and suppress the kuki attack. The forces are mute spectators since the conflict began in 3rd May. Sixty thousand troups deployed in Manipur is simply a show and eyewash.
They did the same to the nagas and succeeded so they want to repeat it again on the meiteis I guess.
