The Red Chair Cafe is a locally owned restaurant in downtown Anchorage, serving breakfast and lunch. The Red Chair Cafe is unique and their concept is consistent throughout their visual elements. Patrons can experience the carefully designed space through the red accents adorning the cafe - their tables have one red steel rod at the base, each counter has one red stripe, and the cafe has one "Red Chair" that moves around the cafe reminding patrons of the essence and uniqueness of their experience.
A Mural Art Gem! The hip mural art cafe is one a kind in Anchorage, with 9 murals designed and executed by Arielo "Bisco" Taylor - an Anchorage-based mural and tattoo artist. The murals embody the essence owners David Seube and Chef Barb intended for the space. Arielo's design combines neo-traditional elements of Alaska with a Steampunk twist.
What's New? The cafe is an innovative force in their industry. From dine-in, dine-out, and take-out options, this cafe has it all! Their a scratch kitchen delivers amazing baked goods, sauces, soups, and dressings. In addition to that they have a few unique products:
Grocery / Bulk Delivery - The cafe currently offers a number of grocery items and basic ingredients in bulk - such as kombucha, homemade jam, salsa, hummus, coffee, and baking products such as sourdough starters, etc. reusable to-go boxes.

I was there today (9/17/20) I had the Savory Omelette (Soooo Yum) and of course my crispy bacon. Service was good the atmosphere was pretty nice as well. My friend had Fried Grits. I left The Red Chair a satisfied customer. 2 Thumbs Up
