The thing at 3:18 isn't an elevator actually, it is a cage that has genuinely the scariest creature to ever exist, like make your skin crawl type scary. You can see the big vault door that locks it in away from human contact
The environments in these tall tales make me think they need to make more of the map on land. imagine rivers and large coves on huge islands? fortified bays, so many options than just sparse islands
this would be nice, the islands wouldnt need to be huge or anything, just atleast a story on the islands, more than just a skeleton corpse with a sword in it or something, even if it took them a month or two for each island i DEFINITELY wouldnt mind it
This is so cool. I played the original Monkey Island games and I'm so excited for the rest of the tall tale. I gotta stop watching this though as I don't want to ruin the experience. Nice work though !
You can also go up the stairs and ladders on the back of lookout point and explore a good bit before being black screened. From there you can see the pirate ladies house.
itd be insane if rare made every island have a story like this, going around an island to find treasure would be a lot easier and also so much more fun if you got to explore things like this, like a mysterious cave that nobody knows about that includes a chest or something

The cave unfortunately is just a black wall and there is a way to get to the last house on the island. It’s inaccessible because of black screens and invisible barriers. Sail around the back of the island just past the wrecked dock and rowboat and anchor up. The shoot yourself out of the cannon and you’ll see the small house. Then just angle the cannon straight up and you’ll be able to land on it. Good luck and try not to get stuck lol 😂
@@ghostyistoasty I had trouble with bigger ships but made it through will my sloop only a few hours ago, also maybe try turning around in the opposite direction to melee island when u first load in the realm until you hit an invisible wall (end wall) try aim slightly to the left so that once you hit the wall your ship doesn't turn the wrong way, after reaching end wall turn left and keep ship angled right against invisible end wall mentioned earlier until you hit another invisible wall. Your ship at this point should try veering left on its own toward the island but fight it keep trying to veer to the right fighting against the wall and eventually it should seem like it's starting to break through as you will be moving through it as it's making that thudding noise. After 5-10 seconds it should black screen and you should end up on the island. Suicide your character off of the edge like in the video to respawn back on your ship and it should be through the wall, start sailing toward island and you should notice you'll be at the back of it or near.
@@ghostyistoasty yeah i think u have to keep angling it right against the corner of the back wall and right wall (left wall when facing away from island) even when u hear it grind and run into a wall. Just gotta be persistant that's all I think the gap is very tiny, I used a sloop just to be sure.
@@rickardrakkoon2500 Development takes time and unless we want another season 9 we will have to wait, not that I support disorganized studios but if its RARE I would believe them, there are already new features in the insider program and I gotta say its much needed. They probbably had the season 10 done, almost, but then they undertook Monkey Ilsand tall tales and realized how hard it actually was, making them delay season 10. If it makes the updates soild Ill happily wait
Really, Rare? You made the most underwhelming tall tale ever. I assumed that they just didnt finish enough of the map. But no, these fully furnished buildings are just... there? You even implemented the ziplines. Somehow i feel as if someone at Rare wanted us to see this, it was so easily circumvented!

this is something i have been wanting in a long time not just a island the size of melee island but alot bigger
I think they may need to transfer game support to only next gen for this but I do agree, it would be amazing

Okay, I tried it and it does work, however, to really sail to the right, have to be very persist to fully get through the invisible wall.

whenever I try this I just hit an invisible wall when going directly right
nvm you have to go REALLY far back and theres a little area that lacks invisible walling and you can go through
