The only man who personally go toe to toe against Dracula , and he alone defeats him, and mocking him with all of his failures and as final insult, he deny him the final death he desperately desires, a man so powerful that earn Alucard respect and he always have nightmares about him.
Alucard standard outfit seems to be damn close to Abraham's. So I guess he has a lot of respect and admiration for this man
If Hollywood gets hold of this...get ready for disappointment.
💯 facts
they mentioned a live-action adaptation is in the works with the man behind John Wick at the helm, pray they don’t disappoint.
@chichiboypumpi sadly it will. It will be very 🌈
Judging movies before they even come out is what wrong with viewers these days. The anime was good so.
@@OtakuUniverseLive can you blame the customers for being cynical? we’re at the age where political activism had replaced creativity, and they believe cgi is to people as headlights are to critters.
This is an excellent adaptation of Count Dracula. It really serves the purpose of "changing the cycle" in terms of the timeline.
As for Van Helsing in Hellsing: Ultimate...he is badass. Although I wish he would have had more screen time...possibly through Flashbacks like Alucard's Dream.
Alucard is the most if not one of the most OP versions of Drac. Van Helsing is able to take him on because he was a distant relative of the Belmont Clan......
Alucard is closer to 40k or Cthulhu power levels than he is Castlevania. I love van helsing for the same reasons I love the church in world of darkness: both did the impossible to drive back the leeches and enemies of god from the thrones of man with not but fire, faith and steel.
Imagine this being part of the story line in the Castlevania series
@@RomanvonUngernSternbergnrmfvus but wasn't Alucard upgraded to that godly level later by Van Hellsing?
@@metal87power I don’t believe so but there are like 2-3 story lines
@@RomanvonUngernSternbergnrmfvusWhat are you smoking, bro? It must be strong if your spewing this.
Cthulhu is an entity that infinitely surpasses another entity that infinitely surpasses another entity that infinitely surpasses another entity that infinitely surpasses another entity that infinitely surpasses another entity that infinitely surpasses another entity that infinitely surpasses the Dreamlands which infinitely transcends the infinite multiverse and the infinite amount of timelines each individual universe holds. Alucard is literally too insignificant for Cthulhu to realize the Vampire even exists. It's like taking notice of the many trillions of micro organisms living on your body; never gonna happen.
And 40K heavy hitters are roughly on par with Cthulhu.
If Alucard was anywhere near as powerful as even a standard Grey Knight (whom at their strongest literally crush entire planets) Van Hellsing never would of defeated. All of humanity could had a billion years to prepare themselves and still would've lost horribly if he even half as strong as you say.
As a fan of the anime, i pray that the movie does it justice! Live action adaptations tend to be bad as hell
Oh man, the Fullmetal Alchemist movie just skipping straight to the Mannequin Soldier plot, then making a sequel and pretending it never happened. So dumb.
Netflix has shown us thqt live action anime films are doomed to failure.
Wut,?
They're making a live-action ALUCARD?;!;

_Release restraint level...zero._
Still better than Bird of Hermes.
Crispen Freeman who did the english voice acting for Hellsing should be given a shot, and yes I know he's a voice actor but my goodness his voice and laugh are perfect
Oh wow now that you mentioned it, Alucard's voice does sound like a heavier version of Itachi's from Naruto.
@D. P. if you like Crispen Freeman, watch him in Wolf's Rain as Tsume and Witch Huner Robin as Amon I hope I spelled that right both roles were great. He is an amazing voice actor.
@@ElvisLivesOn10 I agree, and thanks for the suggestions.

Ah my favorite monsters, Frankestein, Dracula and Mickey Mouse
Underrated comment
Hey now the mouse is in a level of evil all on its own don’t diss the rest like that.
At this point, Mickey Mouse is above all of them.
Yeah, the Rat's the one you really gotta fear.
The bird... of Hermes is my name... EATING MY WINGS! ...to make... me tame - Alucard
Dracula in the name of my mother. I will defeat you - Alucard (Castlevania)
What is a man.. A miserable pile of secrets.. But enough talk have at you - Dracula (Lords of Shadow)
"Hey kids, wanna see a dead body!" Alucard, Hellsing Abridged
"Bitches love cannons."
Alucard Abridged
Bruh, you giving the "what is a man?" quote to LoS Dracula instead of the OG is some level 100 blasphemy and I'm saying this as a big fan of both OG CV and LoS
@@user-kd5mw6hl7k the Lords of Shadow Dracula had basically said the same quote as the o.g. Dracula. It's just I preferred the Lords of Shadow one compared to the original.
I don't get me wrong I like the original Dracula from the Castlevania series, however unlike the original, the Lords of Shadow version doesn't need to transform every time he encounters a Belmont to prove his superiority plus he's immune to certain holy relics outside of his own Sons sword the crissaegrim which put him into a Eternal sleep.
@@user-kd5mw6hl7k a man is a featherless bird!! *Holds up a plucked chicken* behold man!
The title Sir shows that Integra Hellsing was Knighted at some point.
I know Alucard is not the good guy but damn is he so badass looking in hellsing
A catholic Dutch? That’s as rare as being a vampire hunter!
Actually there are more Dutch Catholics than Protestants in the Netherlands at the moment. Although yes, back when this was set it would have been different.
@@horatiussonofrome812 why is that?
@@RomanvonUngernSternbergnrmfvus dunno
Protestants becoming secular I assume. I dont really know tho.
Its not.
Catholic Dutch are pretty common. I'm a Catholic Dutchman (baptised, not practicing). Most of the catholics live "below the rivers", aka The south of the Country: From Brabant (Me) or Limburg.
I am writing a Vampire Novel that combines Gothic Horror, Cosmic Horror, and Apocalyptic Horror. Set in a post-apocalyptic future. Vampire Hunters come under the support of Private Military Corporations and religious institutions. While there are some Hunters who hunt the creatures of the dark in the belief they are on a holy crusade. The Hunters centered in my novel are violent criminals who made a deal with a PMC to serve them in exchange for their freedom. These are Hunters who hunt Vampires for money and also serve as cannon fodder lots of times. Hunters who serve a Private Military Corporation also end up killing innocent bystanders whether intentionally or not. They also act as hired goons to use intimidation or straight-up murder to those towns and communities who refuse to pay up what they owe in protection money; because in the far future corporations and religions hold the power, and are usually intertwined with each other.
Thank you for the update
My name is Dracula, I bid you... Welcome.
I love hellsing ultimate!
"You cheeky dickwaffle!" Alucard, Hellsing Abridged
If they do it properly and include that dream sequence where Alucard loses to Van Hellsing, than they should have Keanu Reeves play Van Hellsing.
It would be a subtle nod to his work in Bram Stokera Dracula.
You could have Henry Cavill play Alucard and maybe Charlie Hunman play Father Anderson.
Nope. Steven Brand should play Anderson even in the live action version, he literally looks like him.
I wasn't expecting him to have a sense of humor. He kinda reminded me of Dnate from dmc 1. (Don't know why.) He made jokes. But was serious when the situation called for it.
We have a mountain of Dracula films, but only 1 'good' Van Helsing origin film
maybe with the Demeter film coming out, we can see a movie, or show about Abraham transforming from Prodigiuous academic, to Monster slaying master.
Lucky Abraham didn’t catch Alucard on one of his “walks”
As a matter of fact he did
You mean those very enthusiastic walks right?
I still can’t believe alucard at his final almost omni present is but third in power only to Vampire hunter D and Catevania’s Dracula the strongest version of Dracula ever
Throw Lords of Shadow Dracula in there too. He curbstomps Alucard. And Marvel Dracula does too, considering he's defeated the entire Avengers before. And DC Dracula who beat the Justice League before. And I guess Soma Cruz in the evil timeline, as he's technically Dracula.
Personally I think Michael Fassbender would make an excellent Alucard.
Nothing against Scarlett Johansson, but ghost in the shell was my favorite anime growing up and I don’t want this to be ruined too
“…is the perfect example of how an adaptation could respect the source material while still being original…”. did you get that netflix, jada?
If I remember stoker had also taken inspiration from a real life ruler named Vlad dracule or Vlad the impaler
No. He likely didn't. He took inspirations from multiple real life warlords, yet never specifies Vlad Tepes specifically. Besides, Vlad isn't the only man named Dracula.
Hell, Count Dracula of the novel was originally gonna be named Count Whampire. The only reason Stoker didn't go there is because one of Dracula's translation is Son of Satan, which Stoker felt would fit well with the character.
If there's one person who play Alucard in the live adaptation of Hellsing, it's Crispin Freeman.
No in the original story it wasn't fun housing Quincy the Cowboy texan who it's a Bowie knife through draculas Heart.
And Van helsing didn't create a restriction system so much as an enhancement system. The sorcery didn't just restrict draculas power it Amplified it.
Excelent video. I´m scared of the Live Action movie.
I am now afraid for Hellsing
Live Action Alucard adaptation - OMFG Noo..
finds out
John Wick Director is the director - Hmmmm... maybe just maybe I'll let myself hope again !!!
Don't. They could never make a Alucard in today's political climate without either serious outrage by stupid people or changing Hellsing into something very much not Hellsing.
A live action movie of Hellsing? Bad idea 😂😂
James Gunn can make it.
Starring Hugh Jackman as Dr Van Helsing.
4:40 sounds familiar 😂
id do unholy holy things for a prequel focused on Abraham before Alucard became a servant to the hellsing organization
Sign me up too, I will help!
First of all Ser* or Sir is a title given when someone (male or female) has been knighted by Royalty. So its a gender neutral title. Even tho "Dame" was given to female Knights, Ser/Sir is still acceptable.
And how badass is Anthony Hopkins to play some of the most epic characters in fiction:
Abraham Van Helsing.
ODIN
Hannibal Lecter
_"Vampire King. You lay upon ze blood-soaked dirt of your ruined land. Castles plundered, dominions in ruin, servants destroyed - all to end ze hellfire wis which you sought to cover ze world. van hellsing: -let me defeat and enslave you and we will make badass franchise about you in the future
dracula: -buahaha Hollywood? deal.
I’ll never understand how Van beat this mf
Faith, fire and steel
No doubt man power and convictions too, Iam talking entire battalions sacrificing themselves in the blink of a eye type of war. The type of war that makes the war in London look tame.
@@RomanvonUngernSternbergnrmfvusUnlikely as they would of mentioned it. Not to mention 1897 Dracula novel is cannon to both animes and the manga. Considering all of them reference it. In the novel, it's four dudes, a chick, and a old man armed with a Bowie knife vs Dracula during the dawn. Not so impressive anymore, eh?
@@BlankEmporium you’re mixing up your mythology, why you are itching to try to be a negative Nancy I’ll never know or what to. Ohhhh I guess I made you that big mad huh? Sucks to be you.
What of vampire hunter D
I wonder if Abraham already told alucard not go on *very* enthusiatic walks
ok but what movie is it at 7:36
As far as the history of vampire myths...possibly the oldest account of vampires is as old as civilization itself...dating back to Sumer in ancient Mesopotamia.
And myths like that most likely predate civilization.
The person who directed the blade movies or marvel will only do this live action right.
Imagine Jim Carrey playing Alucard
They could also just stick with Luke Evans being Alucard, although I understand why Tom Hiddleston might look like he's a good fit.
Adrian brody would be better as alucard.
".........the aristocrats.........."
so are you telling me that Johnny Sins will be the next Van Helsing?
van hellsing vs. dr venture senor
They need to stop doing live action remakes. I don't care who it is anymore.
Alucards existence is sad...forever a servant to the family that bested him....forced to live on, undying....un living...haunted by his nemesis in his dreams....his ambitions huanting him in his nightmares as he sleeps.... thirsting for life yet wanting for death... un killable , without love or friends....
He yearns for death because he knows what he is and hates it despite relishing his power in battle, but he's very fond of Integra and Seras. He has friends.
Watch the og anime show last night what a coincidink
A live action huh...Keanu Reeves as Dracula sure but Alucard is a bit of a stretch imo
I would be much more happy if hirano wasn't so BORED and actually work on special episodes about alucard and van hellsing
The disregard of the source material and the limited amount of movie run time make live action adaptations horrible. Cant take a multi episode anime into a 2 hour movie.
Anthony Hopkins only van anything for me
The Android from Ghost in the Shell is, shockingly, an android meant to be a western looking woman, so that's why she was cast. It's not supposed to be an Asian android just because the story is from Japan.
I would NOT be ok with a live adaptation of Hellsing. The only one that can work is the 2004 movie and that is not even the same story.
I fear any live action version would be subject to current “progressive” dogma. Just as with Sandman everything nowadays must fall under their shallow skin deep values.
Please no more live action adaptation
Live-action sucks rather see The abridged version over and over again
this is all gnostic crap
What's with all the androgyny in Japanese fiction? I realize the creator of this manga is a woman, which is fine, but all the androgyny is kind of weird.
