    I remember visiting him in Portugal, thinking we would get a piano concert. I have never seen more people leave a concert in my entire life.

    These live versions kinda sound better then album ones. Much more powerful and crisp sound. Like it! It also amazing to hear composition from old albums in the new electronic arrangement. If you know his discography well, you can hear good old Yann melodies in these new style :)

      Lo vi ayer en vivo, es espectacular, mucha gente en ese concierto esperaba que tocara el piano, aún así, a mucha gente le encantó

    For those unfamiliar to Yann Tiersen and synth ain't your jam. He is a brilliant pianist and violinist, he also slays the accordion among other instruments. I highly recommend checking out his other work before writing him off based on this.

      Sounds like you think his new stuff is not good or something. His latest work is beautiful, the sampling and incorporations of synths are incredible and definitely sounds like him. He is not just piano and violin which is good

      @@lemartin93 my comment was for the many who scoffed at this, one even saying he should learn how to play an instrument 😂 while I am more partial to his older music with harpsichord and other strings I don't dislike this.

      @@Mrs.Self.Distruct should learn how to play an instrument, this is just toooo funny. But I am sure many will be surprised when searching for his earlier stuff. I guess most Amelie fans never saw this coming, right? ;) my fave was his short rock period but it really takes a genius to create in so many musical styles.

    Great performance. But they are already so many great modular artists, a shame that none of them is ever invited; Colin Benders, Suzanne Ciani, Caterina Barbieri, Hélène Vogelsinger....

    I do not envy the person who had to type out these song names (I know copying and pasting is an option, but also, imagine just talking to someone about this album and trying to remember the name of one of these tracks and not knowing the number of the track it was on the album)

    I think Kerber is his masterpiece, and I love that the album, a mixture between piano and electronics, can be taken on its own or taken as a solo piano album, and now here you have primarily the electronic portion of the album without the piano. The pieces are just so inexhaustibly lovely.

    Je ne vois pas trop où ils veulent en venir avec cet conquête des usa ? Trop influencé après c'est un nouveau style faut peut être le temps de s'habituer à cet nouvelle sonorités un peu comme un visionnaire mais je dois dire que c'est assez alambiqué.

    His music has been so incredible for me and lots of people i know….
    Today we went to see him with his new show. While we bought the tickets in the pre-Corona Time for his old show.
    Sorry but this was bad. Really bad. People just started going home. The place was almost empty when i left.
    Yann, I’m looking for a reason why you did this.
    This was confusing.
    Apart from that;. I was raised with Classical music. But always listened to electronic music to. But this was Simply not good. The visual effects gave people in the place headaches and they ran away. …
    Sad to see this happen with a musician this great.

    There was a piece of Zimmer in first track, and a piece of Daft Punk in other... and a singer? I'm disappointed. Really. One of monument in my music soul. And it fall down. Mountain without wind, fire without light, music without soul. So sad.

      Funniest comment of all time ;) he played most of his early albums himself on 10+ instruments ;) look for his pre-2009 live performances and you will be very surprised ;)
