We've made plenty of Old Fashioneds and a couple different variations using Guinness but we've never seen anyone implement a beer foam like that. Sounds delicious, we're gonna have to give it a shot!
As a beer sommelier i would urge you to try the first cocktail with a witbier like hoegaarden or one of the more crafty alternatives available these days. The flavor profile could fit really well as the beer itself already has coriander seeds and orange peel
We can't find Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition in korea but I'll try with jameson : P So excited about it. Always surprising How you are making foam or other stuff. Your creativity is always amazing : P

Thanks. I am used to making an Old Fashioned with 50ml from back in the days when I used 50/25ml jigger (this is almost the only jigger you can purchase in Slovenia). I found it really balanced to make it that way. But maybe I will adapt and start to prepare them with 60ml (2oz). We'll see in my next Old Fashioned episode ;-)
Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition is out of my reach here in Malaysia, how does it taste? What do you think about adding chocolate bitter to the Stout fashioned if i were to use normal Jameson Irish Whiskey?
I just got invited to a “beer month” party and they expect me to come up with some cocktails. Thank you!! For the Carpano Rosso, I’m not sure I can get that here. Any substitute? Is Antica formula ok or should I go for something lighter?
Hi Kevin! I have been iterating a craft cocktail for the past few days, and I am unable to get my Guinness to foam like that. Using bottled Guinness draught, I have tried shaking and whisking with an electric mixer since I don’t have a milk frother. The bottles fell over on the way home from the store, but they settled in the fridge for several days before use. Could this possibly be the issue? Also, I wonder if canned Guinness draught foams differently. Thanks!
This shouldn't be an issue. That's interesting. I used the canned version but I doubt that it is much different than the bottled one. Do you have an isi siphon? Because you can make it in a siphon too. Check out my Batched Old Fashioned episode to see the recipe for that.
That’s good to know. Not sure which variable is the culprit here. I will continue experimenting, and I’ll look into those siphons. Thank you for your reply! Cheers!

Here in Argentina we call it "Birroni"
Two great recipes. I have all the ingredient for the Irish beer cocktail. Will be making that for sure.
Great! Have fun making them. I am sure, that you will like Stout Fashioned. Thank you!

Nice! Beer cocktails can be so good. Thank you!
Oh man, that last one with the Guiness has me salivating. I wonder what it would taste like with. Splash of coffee liqueur like Me Black added in.
Sound great!

The glass used in the Irish cocktail is so pretty, where can i find it?
I am not sure about this one. I have to check that out.
@@KevinKos you would do me a great favour if you could find it, thank you in advance
I tried the stout fashioned and they really sneak up on you! An excellent way to get the party started 🤣
Oh, indeed! That foam can cover up how strong this cocktail it. But delicious, right? I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@@KevinKos Oh yeah definitely. It's going to be a go to from now on!
Amazing content. 1 question though; why 50mL and not the usual 60mL (2oz) in your Old Fashioned variation?

You can go with classic Jameson here too.

Try with something lighter for this drink. Maybe Cocchi or Martini & Rossi?

Why not a german version? :D
Maybe one day 😉 Thanks for the idea!
Yesss! This was soo good! 🤩
This was awesome! 🤩
❤❤❤❤❤
Hey Kevin! Fantastic recipes as usual :) would you give me a tip how long can you store the foam in the fridge please? Thank you
You can add it into a siphon for bigger quantities and stored it like that is good for at least three days. Cheers!
