Sorry - there's nothing "beautiful" about a man, a newlywed no less, cheating on his wife. Peggy was an opportunist who provided powerful men w/ her female favors for career promotion. It's women like her who set the equal rights movement back almost before it started. Silly, really since Peggy, clearly, was very bright & talented. At least, by the end of the series the Pete C. character recognized Trudy was the real love of his life.
I think the beautiful crime is about two persons that not equal in nothing. Cheating isn't beautiful, of course not, but they had a moment, share some feelings, sexuals or not. Peggy is pretty rude sometimes, but i understand, and pete really liked her, envy her, and for a man that not shared his feelings with people that closer than him, i understood the message of the video.
@@gwenhwyfar3100 Good AM to you. I still believe Pete's actions are wrong, wrong, wrong. People can "share some feelings" without, at the same time, violating their marriage vows. The Pete character is a VERY confused person who fails to value the devotion of his wife because he does NOT understand that genuine love can only occur between two people in a mutual manner. THAT is why polygamy was, rightfully outlawed.
I agree with you about the moral aspect but in their cultural context, cheating was the norm. Men wrote the rules. Men felt that cheating was their right and women who wanted careers couldn't be married and couldn't really date. They ended up having affairs with married coworkers. Peggy didn't sleep her way to the top. She made it on her own merit. Moreover, it's Pete who took vows not Peggy. Let's keep the blame where it belongs.
Peggy was the only one who completed Pete. But the timing was all wrong.
Ugh i love them ❤ great video
I still not over this relationship
I don't care if it was immoral but God these two had Chemistry!! A young naive girl n an absolute jerk of a boy
Эта была моя любимая пара в сериале!Жаль у них не вышло.
Я не очень хорошо говорю по-русски, но они все еще моя любимая пара.

@@GizmoMaltese Their first session together at Peggy's apartment, Pete was engaged, not yet married.
Slow down, it’s just a tv show
