I truly enjoy watching your videos Margarete, they are very engaging and inspiring and you have a wonderful way of making me feel connected through your art. I really love how these turned out, thanks so much for your time and sharing your creativity 💕
Listening to your thought/creative process is illuminating. The circular stamp, for me, mimics the line surrounding the #2 on the receipt strip. We all have our preferences, our quirks so I would have done a dark blue edging in ink on the card. This is fun.
Margarete, your collage looks pretty nice! Love that you shared the prozess of combining everything together with us! Greetings from germany, Claudia ❤
Love it(& your tin too)...will see you for prompt #2!! Thought of you today as I purchased some vintage postage stamps online...can never have enough!! 😘
I love this idea and using the Recipe box as a holder. I will watch your video on decorating the box first. Thanks for the prompt list, the tickets are so cute!
I love this idea and can’t wait to get started! Thank you for the “ticket” prompts. I plan to use one on each corresponding collage. I will be using 3” x 5” note cards. Now all I need is a box to store them in! (Good excuse to go thrifting, right?) Thx so much for the inspiration, Margarete.
I bought your prompt cards and only created one collage using them. This inspires me to get them out and create with you!! I like the idea of small collages, I haven’t tried those before.
Hi I have been doing collage for a few years now, I love how you share and inspire. Your videos are engaging and I enjoy watching. Thank you for the 50 prompts. I just did the first prompt today. I've built up a little bit of an ephemera collection. I'm using a vintage used rolodex-type address book 5X3" that I've had for a year or more and these prompts looked perfect to use for it. This is my first attempt at Junk Journal type collage or glue book type of collage. I have always worked on a larger substrate. I've always wanted to do something smaller. Thanks again for the inspiration.
I did one of your collage challenges on Rolodex cards and at first the small size felt restrictive, but now I love doing the smaller size collages. Thanks for your time and the freebies!
I would call the small receipt piece you used a stub. I’m just getting started on your collage prompts, having recently finished Junk Journal July. I think one or two per week to catch up will be more my speed. Love your videos.
I would've collaged directly on those tabbed cards, but that's just me. I have a few from 7gypsies or something and I did that bc they were sitting around for ages. They were STAMP collages though, looked awesome
I am so excited about your challenge my dear. I have a little green recipe box like that that I will decorate for it. I love the Norwegian paper you have decorated your box with. I am Norwegian so I noticed it right away. I was also so excited to see your typewriter. I have been wanting one for a long time and I finally found one on Marketplace that I could afford all I had to do was order new ribbon for it. I cannot wait till it comes. This is going to be so much fun. Blessings and love from New Mexico
@@MargareteMiller I didn't think I would be able to print the prompts which was a big disappointment but my daughter came over and showed me how to do it. So now I am set to go
Love it!! I was thrown off a bit because you were using only 4 elements and usually it's an odd number. But then you added the stamp and it brought it all together visually. Cute tin, one of my favorite things and your old typewriter, I have one too. TFS Hugs * L
Great video. Thank you. Would love to see a few using the 5/6 prompts from your weekly collages. Especially when they include a prompt that is quite different/random than the others. How do you make them look cohesive?
Oh you make me happy with a new video 😊. Margarete I’ll go to Orlando this year. Could you tell me if I can buy those inks in Walmart or Target? Or where should I look for them? Paper Stores ? Also I want o buy more staff like old papers…
You can find them at a craft store called Michael’s. I’m sure Orlando has one. You can order the exact color set you want and they can deliver to the store so that you can pick it up. They have some in the stores but it’s hard to guess what they will have.
I have an issue where I can't leave any of the background showing. I see that you do so all the time, and your stuff looks great! But for some reason I feel like i have to cover the entire space. I need to try to break myself of that.
Hi, I'm new to the channel. I do junk journaling but never heard of gluebooks. Seems very similar, but I can see the difference. I think it can be a more free-form style that doesn't require a lot of purchased materials. Is there a video that covers the types of adhesives and glues that you recommend? Some papers I have are very thin and I don't think a liquid glue would work. Do you typically use a glue stick and double-sided tape? Thanks!
I am so disappointed I tried a number of ways to print the tickets and none of them worked with what you have provided. Such a disappointment because I really wanted to print these as writing is hard for me. So guess I will have to opt out on this wonderful challenge
Can you just do a screen shot when she shows the paper at the beginning? You could then just edit it down to remove the black around the edges, it’s what I normally do.
@@junkjournalingbarbie5007 Barbie best so kind of you to offer to do that. The small piece of paper is called “receipt stub” usually used to attach to an expense report.
Yes! Thank you! 💙

I know what you mean, Linda. My answer is “it depends”, which is no answer at all, I know. I’ll think about making a video about this.
Love this project. Do you have a video on decorating the recipe box tin?

How do you decide to place the selected elements to the edge of your substrate??
Did you tear off the blue arrow side of the arrow piece of paper?
