  • Sherefe (the name refers to a Turkish drinking toast, “to your honor”) has been bringing traditional music from Greece, Turkey, and the Middle East to Colorado audiences for nearly 25 years. They are the house band for Boulder's annual Greek festival and (normally) perform frequently throughout the year for dancing and listening. In this livestream concert, the band will treat you to a taste of different styles ranging from simple Greek island dance tunes, to deeply romantic urban songs, to complex Arabic compositions. After the concert, there will be a short talkback session in which band members will answer audience questions posed via chat.
