Undefeated heavyweight prospect Dainier Pero and hard-hitting contender Johan Gonzalez chat with Cynthia for BWBSP during their media workout at Split T Boxing Club in Las Vegas.
Pero, who is trained by world-renowned trainer Bob Santos, was the youngest Cuban Olympian to make the team and shares his incredible story survival with his family and the adversity he needed to face to get to where he is. Pero fighting style is similar to a "taller version of Usyk!" He also responds if he would ever fight his older brother, also a professional heavyweight boxer, Lenier Pero. Pero had some interesting answers and predictions.
Gonzalez talks about wanting to show that he has the goods to be on the big stage. Coming off a victory, he wants to keep pushing forward. Gonzalez has learned a lot from his losses against Jesus Ramos, Magomed and Navarro. Gonzalez is ready to take on bigger challenges to get in line to fight for a belt.
