a stink bug shorted my ROG Extreme Encore mother board. I literally watched it bounce off a fan. Into another fan on the AIO which splatted it straight into the mother board. system instantly powered off. after cleaning the motherboard it wouldn't get out of Bios, i installed a fresh bios. system would not even boot to bios. i called it ruined there and starting tearing it down. found out it shorted something hard enough to melt 1 single pin on the mother board. Its a sad say when you loose a 1100$ Motherboard but it did end up prompting me to upgrade from the old 9980XE to the 12900ks (which was the best that was out at the time). Good content! sad to see another person was victim to bug juices. i count myself lucky i can afford to eat the cost. a lot of people cant. i cant image the stress.

a friend of mine had the amp extreme holo 3080 non TI, and at the beginning it was running decently well, not great but not super high either, but a year later the gpu started going so high under 50-60% utilization, high 80s and hotspot over 100"C and would immediately crash on anything even with a 200mv undervolt and underclock to decrease temps, he RMAd it and then returned it to him saying nothing was wrong with it, of course he got angry because the testing metodology was just "used some titles" and one of them was oblivion listed on their testing, he contacted zotac directly instead of CCL (which was the site that sold him the gpu) and zotac themselves said it wasn't right, he sent it back once more and they just gave him a full refund, no repair or replacement, just the whole money back

Did you change your filming setup because the videos are looking much more blurrier than usual? streaming in 1080p and it's looking like 480p for some reasons...

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned that benchmark score. My MSI 3060 which is 5 rungs down the ladder with a mild overclock scored within 200 points on Superposition and only 800 points lower in stock trim. Not much performance gain for the extra $800-$1000 difference in price. Is that the Zotac under performing or is that an across the board score?

i just ran superposition with my 3080 non Ti from Msi and got 23789 score on the same settings as his. i think his score is so low because the core i5 in his system is bottlenecking the gpu

@boofygoofy3758 It's ridiculous to state facts? I never said that 3060's were as good as 3080ti's. I simply checked my score and even ran a fresh test to confirm my score. I anly compared my MSI 3060 to THIS Zotac 3080ti. I even asked if this was normal or just this card. I got an actual reply that stated his 3080 Non ti scored 11000 points higher than this card and even offered a possible explanation for the low score. Before getting all butthurt, or giving a half-assed reply, Try checking other reviews that show Zotac cards consistently score lower than other brands.

So you accept console repairs? I'm lost with some of my hardware 😢

never fixed a console on my life but willing to try anything really.
The repair cost is the same no matter the device so it has to make sense to fix it in the first place.

You don't really need cooling on the coils. The most important are the mosfets.

And I thought it was Samsung's 8nm that caused all that heat and fan ramp up....never again buying something without thorough reviews of the card first.
