Thank you for your comment ! Yes, it's a beautiful engine, no doubt. Only it needs a bit more attention, to be sure, that everything works fine. Real gem, this Mr. Ogawa's miracle. Like it very much, thank you !
Great videos , can you please add a list of the fixes to your description? I am trying to piece it all together between the two videos Change glow plugs Check intake manifold o rings Is that all? I see others have issues with this engine. I am looking at a plane locally with this engine installed already for $900 seems like a decent deal
Hi and thank you for your comments and suggestions ! Your feedback is really appreciated and useful. I'll add more structure in my next videos. Thank you and have a nice day !
@@crazyengines88 no problem, are you going to be making more videos on this engine? I am considering getting one but I want to know all the problems before I do
@@mikesullivan5851 Hi, nice question, thank you ! To be honest, I've no plans to make video about OS FR 5-300 in the nearest month, I've some plans to continue engines comparison 0.70 - 0.80 class, and also, have an idea about engine supercharging , crazy, of course. Nearest time about OS FR 5-300 could be approx in May, not earlier, sorry. I could mention only one engine problem - uneven fuel mix distribution, which is leads to cylinders accidental quitting ( due to over rich fuel mix). It could becomes negligible after a certain period of engine working time, but I can't confirm it, due to the fact, that my engine is too "young", two or three hours only. Than you and have a nice day !
@@crazyengines88 can you help me with a couple things please !? I got the fr5-300 engine ! I need to figure out how to power the glow plug wires? And any other tips you have to help me get It running please🙏
@@mikesullivan5851 Hi and thank for your question. Could you please, to wait a little, (8 hours approx.), because I'm right now is on the way to my work office, At evening (my local time) I'll thing it over, OK ? Thank you and have a nice day !
Flagship engine running like one expects of an OS. Gotta love it!
