@Carlos Piazza well. You know how it goes... With 30 or so people coming forward, he probably is guilty. I still don't know how I feel about people waiting for several decades and let actors build a career before suddenly remembering being sexually assaulted long time ago. It's nearly impossible to prove after such a long time, so it ends being this weird defamation lawsuit thing where people get canceled over allegations and the outcome and objective truth doesn't matter any more

"American Beauty" is one of the most conventional and rethorical mainstream movies about US-family and society. In the real life Kevin is too feminine for that kind of macho's roles. The indipendent Todd Solondz's "Happiness" (1996), about the same subject, is a movie on another planet.

he is one of the best actors. ALL celebritards in hollyweird are pervs and pedos, every single one of them. That is a fact that has been going on since the industry started.
ANYONE who follows celebritards personal life, where they live, what they eat, watch awards shows, follow them on social media, etc. have serious mental issues that should be addressed. I like the movie driving miss daisy, but I don't hang out at the piggly wiggly waiting for them to show up. That is sick and twisted behavior for anyone to be following celebritards. I will watch all of kevin spacey movies as they are good, like rules of engagement. metoo is a slush fund scam and you shouldn't listen to any of those half wits because it's all corruption.

The easy way is that in light of massive crimes, their very way of life should be picked apart and given to the people. All their future property rights to their films and etc and profits therein are invested into a trust which is dumped into the public with clear money trails. They never, ever get a cent from any of their work ever again, but their work is allowed to endure - solely to enrich the people they harmed.
of course like hell any sort of property seizure even if it were for the people would fly, it's only kosher if it's for the government's pockets lmao

Years ago I lived in the same town as Spacey's mother. She was a regular at a store where my roommate worked. One day Kevin Spacey came in to give him an autographed 8x10 head shot as a 'thank you for being so helpful to my mom'. He framed it and Kevin Spacey smiled at us from the living room wall from then on. Until we moved out.

The good part of it was NOT dragging people through the mud for being who they are: I'm thinking of Rock Hudson and Raymond Burr, who were gay at a time when being "found out" was the end of your career. If he's guilty, he's guilty, but if he's not been proven guilty yet, then treating him as so by labelling him as a villain or not watching his movies anymore is immature. What if he is innocent? If you were accused of something that you know you didn't commit, you'd hope people treated you innocent until proven guilty, not the other way round.

The last season of House of Cards without Spacey was boring and a total waste of time.
Still like his work and also rewatched American Beauty in the meantime.
Before we judge based on allegations about things he did for example more than 30 years ago, I suggest going back 30 years ago and think about things that we have done back then.
Can we remember every drunk night in detail? Was there anything we did back then that we would never do now?

I'm pretty sure I never climbed onto a 14-year-old who then had to escape to a bathroom to get away from me, when I was 26. As in, 100% sure. The fact that Spacey pulled an "if I did it so sorry don't remember I was drunk" when the allegation was first made is even more alarming than his tone-deaf follow up of "I guess now's the time to mention I'm gay".
C'mon, man. Most people aren't like this.

@@dontbefatuousjeffrey2494 Ok, perfect saint, so you’ve never been black out drunk? Not to say this is something that’s happened to me a lot, but it certainly happened 2 or 3 times as a young person who didn’t quite know how their body handled alcohol. After which I was told of things I had done and absolutely did not remember doing.
Had he actually tried to DO anything with this 14-year-old I would say cancel him regardless of whether he remembers it or not, but he was essentially accused of flirting with the kid who flirted back. So, I don’t know, maybe I have an unpopular opinion but, I say not guilty.

I think it's definitely possible that these people didn't just die because people in the industry do get murdered. I can't prove that, but I can feel it in my gut. There's too many powerful people in Hollywood who can keep unsavory details quiet, even though that's the wrong thing to do

Even if he is guilty of everything. What difference does it make? He is just an actor. If it is a good movie, I will enjoy it. Let the legal system make the judgements. I wish Spacey would do a film version of Richard III.
