I liked this video. It looked like you were by yourself and filming from a tripod. Not a lot of superfluous chit-chat with other people. Straight and to the point with a nice introduction and walk-around. You might try taping a cotton ball over the mic to help reduce wind noise. Might I suggest a trip and video to Schimpff's Confectionery in Jeffersonville, IN with your family? G.A. Schimpff’s Confectionery is one of the oldest, continuously operated, family-owned candy businesses in the United States. It was opened in its present location in 1891 by Gustav Schimpff Sr. and Jr. Good advice to your viewers there at the end. Keep up the good work Barry and God Speed with your journey to recovery.
Thank you as always for the constructive feedback. I really do appreciate honest opinions and suggestions. I saw a big news story yesterday on Schimpff’s. I was thinking the same thing. It’s close to the walking bridge I think. I’ll be doing a lot of solo/tripod reviews in the coming months. Unfortunately I’m not going back to work for a while.
I haven't been by there in a couple of years but now that I see much hasn't really changed except for them expanding when it gets a little warmer. I will check them out. Good review as usual.
Barry my friend, very nice review on a old timey place, the food looks really delicious, their pavilion looks very similar to Eli's, the place I want to take you if/when you get a chance to get up this way, they also have insulated plastic to wrap around the pavilion with heaters so you can eat out there in cool/cold weather, plus a building to eat inside. That is a lot of wings, wow, I pray you are healing well, God Bless you, your wife, & the girls, still praying for your healing pal
Wife and I need to stop there once again sometime this year. Been a while. We tend to like the split off a bit better tho. 😉 Loved seeing an EV in the background at the end (blue Chevy Bolt EUV). We've got one white. ⚡🔌
Baby back sticky ribs for me with extra sauce on the side, deep fried corn on the cob, beans and spoon bread! Yep, yep, yep, plus smoked homemade kolbassi and homemade sauerkraut with noodles…

I had Bootleg Bbq 10 years ago. However I wasnt impressed, very over hyped. In Louisville other than Marks Feedstore being my #1 bbq restaurant in Louisville. The bbq restaurant on Preston close to the fairgrounds. Looks like an old Rallies restaurant. I wish I could remember the name. It was my favorite hands down. I stopped going because I switched jobs and nologner worked by it.
Back Deck, Tim Page’s Corner store, Vietnam Kitchen, weekend-Burgers, Hoops, Rubbie’s, Love Transformation Project Fish Fry, O’Dolly’s Restaurant & Lounge.

When you said a good smoked wing will put a buffalo wing to shame, you and I are on the same page and I know now why I subscribed to your channel!
Thank you. Good minds think alike.

That is a new building the original was just a small "shack" that was to the side of the new building that I believe they tore down
I must have been at the old shack before.

Best wings I ever tasted.
@@timlanham3405 they’re plenty good.
Bootleg is good, but I think Shack in the Back has the best smoked wings, especially with the Sweet Sop or White Lightnin’ sauces.
👍
I am a big wing fan ..
Yeah, they have tasty wings.

If there was a place like this in the Northern California Bay Area, I would be there multiple times a week. You will never see a place like this here.
Louisville might be the foodie destination of the U.S.
