The voice thing I’ve heard from a few voice actors saying that it’s because when you do a certain voice long enough you naturally adapt to it and sort of place it at a more natural high level. So you basically still do the impression without damaging your larynx.
Has nothing to do with protecting your larynx. When you're new to doing a voice, you're a lot more concious about staying consistent with your character, and when you're deeply focused, or paying real close attention to the way every word that comes out of your mouth sounds, you end up speaking a little slower, and maybe a little flatter. When you speak slower, it naturally sounds lower. Now that doing the voices have become 2nd nature, they no longer have to think about it, which allows them to just speak like a "normal" person would. Try it, Say something slow, and it'll sound lower. Say it faster, and it'll have a higher pitch. Or just watch one of the first couple dozen episodes in 1.25x speed, and they'll sound like they do now, albeit a little flatter. Try one of their more recent episode in .75x speed, and they'll sound more like they originally did. (That's why meg sounds the exact same for the most part. Since Mila just uses her natural speaking voice, she's never had to think about how she sounds).

We definitely need to see these 4 together a lot more. Such amazing voice actors for Family Guy.
It would have been funny if meg was about to speak then your hear peter say "shut up meg" haha
Meg's voice changed the most of all, it's like she's a different person or something.
It was a different va in the very beginning
That was the joke @@Aries_Reign
I was looking for this comment. I'm fascinated how many people aren't picking up on this. 😂
Especially in season 2 she sounds different from episode to episode it's crazy
This hits hard for me. I've spent the past year trying to convince my family that Roger's voice is different now than it was before. To hear Seth acknowledge this makes my day!
Your family dum
Seth Green is a legend
In fact they all are Legends
Literally there's not a show in human history that I've watched more than this show I love family Guy and I love you guys for making my childhood and my life amazing literally what other show can you put on everyday and every night even though you've seen every single episode and just makes you feel warm inside
I flipping love you Seth Green ❤️
They went from talking in 3/4 speed to full speed.
It’s so amazing seeing those voices come out of those faces
As you get more comfortable in the voice the more human it becomes.
Seth green is awesome
He actually isn’t
@@freddiewarwick5154 yes he is
@@mariomario1462 he actually isn’t
@@freddiewarwick5154 actually he is.
i love Alex Borstein, so freakin talented!
Peter became more and more Italian over the years!!! 😅😂😂😂
Man I love these people!!! They literally make my life happier!!!!
She makes lest right lol
Their chemistry is amazing I bet they have so much fun recording
They probably don't record at the same time.
@@angharr5453ur the new meg.
Dont spoil the fun meg
I think it's just there having to talk faster now than what they used to
What a super neat place man thanks so much and please enjoy the happiest of holidays seasons weekends!
Seth Green - how’s Isaac Kappy?
The Judas guy?
How does nobody remember a man scared for his life throwing himself off a bridge after whistle blowing on the soulless ginger
And telling us he would never unalive himself and he ends up gone THEY did it@@jamiehall679
The nutjob who apologized to Qanon and Trump while claiming he was Judas and offed himself? Ya sounds really credible 😂
I gotta watch two hours of this easy
Duuudde... hearing freaking Chris Griffin is crazy lol
Today i learned that Seth Green is Chris
Also learned Mila was Meg 😂😂 I do not watch Family Guy.
The talent in this room is incredible
Meg's voice is completely different from the first episode.
I believe it was a different Meg.
@@robertopics that's the joke.
Fun episode
Different person voiced Meg then
@@Ironmangroup that's the ducking joke.
Don’t forget Seth green eats kids, and Mila kunis was well aware of her husbands relationship to diddy!
It's because it's easier to do voices for a long time in a lower pitch. As you keep doing it, your vocal muscles get stronger and so you naturally talk higher since it's now easier to do. But that's just a theory...a fan theory!
But proootooo!
Funny that opera singers lose their top and their voices become darker.
Is it just me or does everyone’s face have a yellowish tint? IDK if it’s the lighting or if they have a bad makeup artist?
I think its the lighting, you can see a bulb in the background that has a yellow tint
If only Seth wasnt outted for liking children by Issac Kappy.
😮
You mean that guy who clai.ed to be the reincarnation of judas? Yeah real great source there..
Isaac Kappy
These actors are so amazing.
Voice acting ita just magic, I see a dude and his sounds like Peter and Ted simultaneously in a hilarious way, pure gold
"She makes less right?" hahahaah NAILED IT!
Anything he does is gold especially when he's with the cast
For those of you saying that Mila’s reaction means that she uses her regular voice, there’s another reason. She’s laughing because in order for Meg’s voice to change, Lacey Chabert, Meg’s original VA, left the show.
Right
Brilliant! Love these actors! Great stuff! Ol seth! 😆👍🏻
I love hearing voice actors doing their voices in person, it cracks me up every time.😂😂🤣🤣
Wow… this was awesome to see and hear them do the voices
“She makes less right?” This is just the real life version of “Shut up Meg” 😂
Mila reaction was super cute 🤣❤️
