So I bought a 1994 KX-80 Big Wheel and it has a Wiseco crank, and the guy supposedly rebuilt everything at the same time, but it runs like crap. I installed an OEM Keihin carb and now it runs so rich that my son ran through an entire tank of fuel in 2 hours of riding. There's oil coming from the overflow tube that's attached to the crankcase. I cleaned all of the jets and the needle/seat before I installed the carb. It had a cheap Chinese Nibbi knockoff on it when I got it. It has plenty of compression, no other leaks or anything. It will run fine after I spray a flammable fluid into the cylinder before I crank it. I have also replaced the spark plug multiple times. It has plenty of fire at the plug, plenty of compression, so I'm lost. I'm going to try to adjust the float level, but it definitely shouldn't go through a full tank of fuel in 2 hours...and he shut it off for 30 minutes out of that. I'm just lost. I'm a four stroke guy.
