@@b4u132 Everyone has their own choice. I prefer the understated classy look of Tiguan over radical and quirky styling of C5. Also I like the dynamics of VW over the ride comfort of Citroen.

@@highpiston2925 never bro ..... Even though it's missing some features.... The features which are present are of the highest quality...... No doubt in that and the handling , engine,and safety this car has is top of the class far better than giving 15-20 lakhs extra for the BMW Logo 😌
Over rated
I was having Tiguan Diesel Highline 2018 model.. CBU
Used 3 years.
Nice Car. Quality. Drivivability. Driving stability Confidence are Nice.
Fuel efficient. City 7 to 11 depend on traffic.
Highway 13 to 19 depend on driving condition. Straight highway best mileage.
Average mileage 13 to 15..
But Honestly Not Good for plenty of Bend roads in Kerala. Feel back pain on continous 4 hours kerala drive. Bodyroll is there. Not comfortable for rear passengers. Ladies from rear seats always complain. Rear suspension is noisy dum dum sound on potholes badroads. Can try comfort lowering tyre pressure to 29.. Some people use just 27 for 18 inch highline model. I was used 31 to 33 psi.. Once used 29 was comfortable ride...
Definetly its not comfortable on kerala's continous bend and bad roads..
Straight highway its good.
We sold it for no comfort. Buy was nice buy for 2 people.
She said it right.. We were using Vento befire Tiguan.. Till now i feel far better one is vento.. That was awesome car vento Diesel in all aspects.
Vento is far far better than tiguan.. Jetta passat also good cars.. But passat maintenance is expensive Tiguam too..
Vento Diesel Highline car users. Please DON'T sell it.. Use it as much u can. You wont get such a nice car..
We did a mistake selling vento for buying Tiguan.
Tiguan Seats are Hard. Not comfortable for long. Really felt tired and pain from neck to but.. Pain means some kind of feel.. I never felt it in Innova for same road distance drive.
Dark Black interiors feels boring after long drive. Full black interior feels annoying boring for both adults and especially childrens.
You shouls hv bought Alspace. Its interior is biege .. Feels luxury.
Many Positives and Negatives are there in Tiguan.
No Resale Value too..
But its goos in some aspects. This users driving in only 70 to 90 kmph. May feel plush. So its like any other car for them.. Won't feel the change..
Space is plenty...
Diesel Machine with DSG was Best anyways...
Definetly no Comfort
But I have not felt the seat issue ! As you said suspension set up is stiff but it rides better in highways ! Good to hear from you !

I think for comfort it’s the Citroen C5 the best bet.

Now Innova using coz large family. Hv another sedan DSG after tiguan.
Waiting for new launches Carnival or Fortuner or New Isuzu MuX.
My Preference is Diesel AT. Best Suspension.. May be again we avoid Fortuner.. Let see how new fortuner will be.

Seats not so soft then and now.. Looks same.. You won't feel while driving.. After u reach long driven destination. After getting out feels tired and body pain.. I dont feel that in other cars.

Actually Skoda kodiaq is very demanded car than Tiguan in India.
Even Skoda didn't expect this much of success in India. Mostly The owners of kodiaq is already used from other countries and loved and waiting here for this beast

Best petrol's are from Honda (Japanese). Best Diesel's are from Germans
Petrol give more performance than diesel especially on top end (redline), ie over square vs under square engines
Issue with petrol is since its direct injection (not port injection) AWA turbocharged (not NA), it's compression ratio is higher( too much pressure & heat inside cylinder), results to engine knocking (use higher octane fuel in performance driving) & oil dilution (Petrol has less lubricating property than Diesel that result in serious damages in engine parts due to dilution )
Remedy : Floor it only after reaching optimum temperature, Allow the fan to cool turbo /intercooler before turning off the car. Change oil on 8K km (5K miles). Throttle body cleaning and Valve cleaning removes carbon deposits (on intake valves and inside cylinder) due to gasoline direct injection.
DSG: Not good for city traffic.
If one don't now how to maintain a turbo engine, its better to stick on NA.
Personally :- I only floor my Honda city( 4th gen vtec) during night driving (9 pm to 7 am) coz since the intake air is cool, engine makes more power due to more oxygen in air AWA cold outside air cools the hot engine fast. Less heat on high speed tires AWA roads. No need of AC. During day time I 'm a sedate driver.
But, one need to be well versed in night driving, especially judging the oncoming traffics speed and type of vehicle ( truck/car/bike), coz u can only see their lights at night.... lol.
I forgot ! Its name is not "Tiguan", its the legendary VW "Golf" (SUV) that we Indians can ever buy !

BMW has RWD layout and this one has FWD layout. That itself makes a lot of difference. Those who knows about it knows the difference.
But in Tiguan it will become all wheel drive when it's needed....

Bmw X1 is front wheel drive. AWD version is not available in India anymore in bmw X1 . Taigun is AWD.

Does it have the DQ200 OR 250?
DQ 200 I think !
VW doesnt put dry clutch DQ200 for cars with torque >250NM and especially with 4Motion, so this is the DQ381-7A / DQ250 was with 6speed

@@souravsagar8371 The 1.0 TSI uses the 6 speed regular Torque Converter, while the 1.5 TSI uses the new improved DQ200 7 speed. Tiguan had 1.5 TSI FWD 6 speed DQ250 in other markets though.

Very poor dimensions than even a Tata Harrier! Wonder why on earth people spending 4.3 million on such a tiny car with just 2L engine spec just for the brand name & the so called 5 stars from Euro NCAP Test. Spending another 4la more would have landed him a highly trust worthy brand car with all the muscles of 2.8L engine..The Toyota Fortuner.
I think you haven't heard the dirty things of fortuner in the video 😂😂 that car only have some road presence and that's all ! Buying harrier is like making our pocket money and valuable time going for no use !!
Tiguanis just 40 lakhs and better not to spend money for a car where there's no features and only for the Giantness
