My son just recently lost one of his best friends and I was thinking about how much easier life would be sometimes if we didn't care so much about others. This song is so true, though. Things are better left to chance and missing the pain isn't worth missing the dance. Even though we are grieving, we have beautiful memories of his friend to hang onto.
