man, watching your uploads is like occasionally hearing from that one favourite distant cousin, and i’m glad that things are going good for you. Excited to see you talk about your clothing brand(s) soon :-)
I'm back here after watching you in 2016 and catching up is so fun! I did not expect to see this kind of content on your channel, Magnus. It feels good to see your growth. It made me think of endless possibilities life holds for us. Thank you for sharing your journey with us x
That's an awesome challenge, good luck Magnus! I'll stay tuned to see the progression. TIP: Sprinkle some fiction or nonfiction books in between the self help/business books so you don't get burned out. The genres you suggested tend to spoon feed you a lot of the same recycled ideas and you can learn a lot/stimulate critical thinking from reading other genres. The classics area always a safe choice.
For low impact cardio you can walk on the treadmill at an incline or 12 percent at 3mph/5kmph for at least 30 minutes. It will get your heart rate up and he healthier for your knees
Yeah definitely, I love treadmills - only "issue" is one exercise has to be outside, and all other exercises than cardio are inside, so need to do something outside
I would suggest outside "hill runs" where you would find a hill, sprint to the top, walk down, repeat. Due to your back problems you could replace it with "hill speed walks" or something 😎😎@@MagnusRonning1
I only really wear a Swatch or a Chronotech sometimes, never wear my Rolex anymore - it doesn't feel safe wearing it in London, and I don't stand to gain anything from wearing it really, so it's on ice
@@MagnusRonning1 his name was Simon, but maybe he just said that he was your uncle for fun then, not entirely sure when you dont sound convinced that he is a professor haha
I think that is a great challenge to set for yourself!!! How about starting out with kick-boxing or muay thai, i started kick-boxing in January and ive never been fitter + i enjeoy it greatly… you might enjoy it :)
this is great except I dont think you need to force yourself to drink if your not thirsty lol, although gallon is probably a decent goal given your exercising twice a day, but if your piss ends up totally clear its a sign youre overdoing it
@@MagnusRonning1 You could do cardio exclusively indoors at the gym, and for outdoor exercise doing callisthenics (if there’s a park nearby with one of those set ups) and other body-weight workouts
I’m sorry mate but this is like an addict saying they’re doing a no drug challenge… your lifestyle isn’t changing, you’re gonna go right back to regular ways afterwards.
This is kind of what I‘m thinking about stuff like that. What really takes disclipline is doing „cheat stuff“ in a moderate way e.g. drinking alcohol every two to three weeks maybe. But I get the challenge way as well. It‘s just easier to to quit e.g. alcohol completely than just drinking in a very moderate way.
I think it‘s smarter to go on with the „challenge“ even if you fail at day 40 and just keep going instead of doing it all over again. But you shouln‘t focus on the 75 days instead of going on forever.
@@velocidrome13 I mean, I don't drink loads or eat copious amounts of fast food - but this is more of a way to keep the foot on the gas going into shorter / colder days, and not being (hopefully) too affected by potential seasonal depression going 75 days is not necessarily going to change a lifestyle - but it forces restraint with certain things, builds some kind of discipline and then slowly bringing back things in moderation at the end of it Outside of the "no cheat meals" and "have to exercise twice a day", the rest of the things I would want to continue with anyways
if after these 75 days I end up exercising more and eating more healthy on the regular, then I would say it's time well spent - even if I failed after X amount of days

We’ve lost him. it’s offically Grindset Ronning from here on out
375k for a 35sq.m. apartment is pure London insanity
very much so, sadly that's just how it is
@@MagnusRonning1 I'm guessing you wanted to stay around London Fields.. I thought my flat was expensive but that's crazy

Magnus thanks for the video
and subtitles appreciate!!!!
So happy for you Magnus! What watch(es) are you wearing throughout the video? Have you gotten rid of your Rolex?

Kind of just got the same wake up call a few months back - keep going Mangoose!

I'll tune in to every episode of this rooting for you and try to do the same, let's go man

not ideal, but lost an airpod and I'm too lazy to buy a replacement one O:)
Please tell me where u bought that Honduras shirt
it's a vintage one sadly
The challenge seems ridiculous. Go for longevity rather than 3 months of super rigid rules.
whatever will help him with his goals. What is your improved strategy you seem to be suggesting?
i'll do longevity after, this isn't meant to be for more than 75 days
Yo does the tools of titan book have joe Rogan in it? Thanks

Swimming/cycling for cardio
I would cycle everyday, but cycling 45 minutes in London gets you nowhere - and there's too much traffic unless going super early
