- R36WF Redbird 6 train ride (lead car 9522) from Pelham Bay Park to Brooklyn Bridge on December 24, 2000. Also bonus actions at Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall.
My childhood memories there. Riding the r36wf. Thank you for sharing this. I grew up riding the redbird on the 6.
@Jeremy Naraine Do you still remember when the Redbirds on the (6) line had orange doors on the inside?? I think it was the R29 Redbirds that had their doors painted an orange color on the inside.
So am I, those Redbirds on the (6) were a really warm-hearted trains back in the days,when I used to ride it with my father a lot around the late 90’s to 2001 & it was my real childhood memories for the entire transit system 🙏
@@michaelespinet5485 We still have the REDBIRDS on the museum's Train Of Many Colors right now. I have not seen those in a long time. I know that the Train Of Many Colors are stored at the 207th street yard right now and some are in the New York Transit Museum.
I MISS THE REDBIRD SUBWAY TRAINS 2,4,5,6, AND 7 REDBIRD TRAINS. I GREW UP IN NYC, NEVER SLEEPS.
I definitely wish these were still running on the 2/5 line.

I worked at Macy's in Parkchester that night. I was on call and they had me in womens shoes. I also had a cold. Worst night ever working there. I remember being on the 6 train dreading to go to work that night. Had some great memories as well because I met some cool people that I am still friends with to this day.
I would like to say that you really have a lot of nice videos of the Redbirds and many nostalgia trains that brings us a lot of good childhood memories, and also those Redbirds were a really warm-hearted trains for the entire system 😊
I loved seeing the old Worth Street station. Still there and waiting for the next train to stop!

@BMT Also there were some R29 REDBIRDS that ran on the (6) line during the 1980's and 1990's too.

I remember there is like a big brown building near the 6 line and next to the bruckner expwy. My grandma used to work there. Now it looks like its abandoned

R62 Productions Miguel Nuñez I never made videos from RFW R62A trains because operators could see me recording easily from the small window and there was high chance they would stop me.
