You guys are the best up and coming USMNT channel, you guys remind me a lot of Pete and Tac when they were starting up in 2020, please keep going. We need more channels like you
Banks and Wynder are the two prospects I keep up with the most given our need. Both seem like probable contributors IMO. Wynder is really playing well at Benfica B, even netting some goals. All eyes on him breaking in with the first team. Same for Banks. Introducing a pair of tall, athletic, 18 yo CB's for the duration is just what the doctor ordered. I also like Chase. Also like the idea of a club trying Lennard at CB (maybe Tessman too?). And in a worst case scenario, I do like that at least CCV and Trusty have the benefit of playing together and building chemistry.
The future is definitely bright at CB, we have so many talented youngsters breaking through! Hoping that Banks and Wynder can graduate to the Augsburg and Benfica first teams next season, especially for Banks that seems like a logical next step in his development. Adding Chase to the mix can only help. We don’t understand the Tessmann at CB thing, as people who have watched him closely for several years now that would be wasting his strengths on the ball. Maloney on the other hand seems like someone who could be tried there. Truthfully I don’t have much confidence in CCV or Trusty, but you’re right that it’s a great thing that they’re building a strong partnership together at club level.
Love the video - this was a fun one ☝🏽. Some thoughtfully provocative takes there! My bold take: Anrie Chase switches to USA and starts at least one match in a USMNT fixture 🤞🏽
We have always underachieved with our youth teams. They were saying our U20's could do something at the last U20 World Cup, and our U23's could do something at the Olympics and it has always fizzled out. I hope our U17's could do something but, it's hard.
To be fair, our U20s lost to the eventual champions and our U23s lost to a very good Morocco team that finished 3rd. I think a deep run is on the cards soon and the U17s have a great chance at doing that.
@@AMERICANULTRASTALK Yeah we always seem to run into the runner up or the tournament winner. I've seen it so many times over the years. I am now a lot more skeptical about our chances.
Yea. I think how we lose also matters. 1 off matches, bad luck can happen. The expectation should be to win both but I can see us losing both regional tournaments.
Definitely agree with that. Obviously we want to win both and be the “kings of CONCACAF,” but context does matter. If we lose to an unfortunate injury, bad refereeing decision, or some other kind of bad luck, it is what it is and we have to do our best to learn from that. In some ways I don’t even think losing one or both would be a bad thing, it would be nice to see this team face adversity before the World Cup.
I thought you had stopped posting…very odd but anyways, amazing content as always, missed you guys! Do you think that Noahkai and Anrie are 2026 potential or is that too soon?
Sometimes RUclips is weird and doesn’t recommend videos for a while, we won’t stop posting. Nice to see you back in the comments! They both definitely have a chance at the 2026 squad, it’s more realistic for Anrie because he’s already a regular with Stuttgart and could probably make the current USMNT roster. Banks has a ways to go but the potential is there, if he can carve out a role with Augsburg next season he has a path to the World Cup squad for sure.
@@AMERICANULTRASTALK I think it’s possible. This is how I see it. Pros: • They are being coached by Poch, a former CB and great defensive coach. • They are both starting in Top 5 Leagues on teams that do a lot of defending. • Both will be starters for the national team as long as they’re healthy. • Will soon have younger competition in Chase (hopefully) and Banks pushing them. Cons: • They play in Concacaf so the comparison with European and South American CB duos will be hard to gauge.
I think this is a likely prediction, he hasn’t ever seemed to improve his final product. He could still have a good season though, mainly defensively and through progressive passing/dribbling.
Hi Dear Braden and Hi Dear Yuri I'm so happy to see You again Dear Yuri I love You so much too Dear Braden I'm so hopeful guy for Our Beautiful USA Men Team and Dear Poch.🥰😍🤗❤🤍💙💯

Matt Turner might be dropped as the starter but if he is not hurt there is no way you don't have him as one of the keepers with his experience.
Definitely agree with that, and honestly I doubt he’s dropped as the starter
I have a Hot 2025 USMNT Take:
McKenzie and Richards spark up a top 10 international CB partnership.
That’s one of the hottest takes we’ve heard, would be huge for the team but I can’t see it happening

So close to 2000 subs. Come on subscribe people!
Only 77 away!
My prediction for 2025 is that Musah ends the year with 4 or less goals & assists total for Milan. I really hope he proves me wrong too.

Are you on Bluesky?
No, only X and Instagram. If Bluesky becomes the main platform we’ll join it but honestly it’s not worth the effort to be active on that and X
Only facts no stats brother
Luca de le torre comeback
1 day later he signs for San Diego, we’ll see how that goes
