I thought the cone curse only happened after the video about a team or player dropped. But KD got hurt while the video was being edited the cone curse has grown even more powerful…
Luckily the KD injury happened right before the Suns play the Kings, Jazz, and Kings again. It's time to prove they're a real team now instead of just "KD & pals" and I think this three game stretch will be a good test of that.
@@notmytruthTHEtruth have faith! A lot of things can go right for this team. Book and Beal have been mostly absent in the scoring dept, they could heat up. Bench is deep too. I think the key is playing four quarters and staying out of end game clutch situations where KD has had to save our asses. Totally possible against the teams they're playing this week.
They have to handle kd calf strain well coz he got this injury twice so far if you count the off-season. There’s a risk he gets an Achilles which is a worst case scenario
LOL - folks out there really trying to say that it’s okay to foul a last second play, and it should never be called. “4th quarter, one second to go, and this is why coach has 5 pro bowl safeties on his bench. Watch how he tackles Lebron on the inbounds pass, totally legal of course.”
Bud is a good coach, but he was not fired because Giannis did not like him; he was fired because his poor decision-making in the playoffs (almost) cost the Bucks a series that they could have won. Many times.
I was talking about how good KD was doing to a coworker last night, thought in my head how I hope he doesn’t get hurt, I didn’t want to say it out loud and jinx him. It must have been announced right around the time I was thinking it. Guess I intuited it, just had a feelings what a bummer
Not a single nba fan will have any explanation why they are better this year except slobbin on kd And they will have no explanation when they continue to win when kd is hurt
Biggest concern for the Suns, injuries aside, is that they are MASSIVELY overperforming their net rating. They're winning basically all their clutch games and have only a few comfortable wins. We've seen this before, and it isn't sustainable. But the potential is definitely there.
Theyve had something like the 6th toughest schedule to start first 10 games. I think its fine they're keeping them close but winning. If they start playing close to really bad teams then id agree with you.
@@Nuvendilthat'd be fair if they didn't have the hardest schedule by ar compared to other teams with good records, every team the suns have played were a playoff team last year
I think suns fans should panic because we’re without KD but we have in the starting five without him, tyus Jones, Devin Booker Bradley Beal Ryan Dunn, and Nurkic
Obviously, losing KD is a huge problem for them, but they are a bit deeper than they were last year. They have also shown a lot of fight in their games, so it will be good to see how they fare without him. They just got through the tough part of their early schedule with a winning record, and they will be facing some pretty average teams over the next couple of weeks.
@@Shawnjohson1608 I don't think so in 2023 we didn't have a Point guard we didn't have a better Coach and also kd carry the suns to the Final so this is not 2023 to 2024 this is 2024 to 2025

Unbelievable tbh
KD really got injured just before this video
I was in the middle of editing it smh

It's just two weeks, he'll be back.

Why do u say luckily it's not good tht kd got injured
He means luckily kd got injuried before we have to play mid teams and not good ones cause it will be a test if the suns need kd or don’t need him

Hopefully kd can come back okay after that calf strain.
I feel confortable with Booker and Beal stepping up while KD out specially because they have Bud as a coach.
Especially if Dunn is back.
And the bench is a bit stronger than last season. If either Booker or Beal starts at SF, I don't like their chances there.

It’s not season ending, let’s just be happy about that. He’s going to miss 5-6 games & come back right to form.
