Yes. The system is corrupt and reactive as opposed to PROACTIVE in protecting those with no voice.

What can a person do to have a smooth hand off of children? What is a good hand off spot? If one parent lingers, threatens, and bullies the other parent during hand off, what can you do???

Thanks for all the great videos you guys are sharing. I wish we lived in Arizona! Sadly, we live in the UK... Much of the law is similar..apparently.. I'm not a lawyer, but I think the equivalent to to 25-403/best interest factors in the UK is known as The Child Welfare Checklist. There is no mention of 1. the 'past relationship with a child', although I'm sure it's consider to some level at some point.. but it's annoying as it's so relevant! Where someone such as me has raised a child almost single handedly without help from the other parent (as they're abusive), yet the other parent takes the child, turns the child's life upside down, and prevents any contact.
There is also no specific mention of 2. "The interaction and interrelationship of the child with the child's parent"
Nor 6."Which parent is more likely to allow the child frequent, meaningful and continuing contact with the other parent."
And again no regard to 7."Whether one parent intentionally misled the court to cause an unnecessary delay, to increase the cost of litigation"
