- From the moment you get a positive pregnancy test SO MANY questions pop into your head! One that is important to decide pretty early on is who do you want to be the one to deliver your baby?!? Do you want a doctor (OB/GYN) or a midwife? Do you want to deliver your baby in a hospital or is a birthing center or home birth sound more comfortable to you? In this video I give some information regarding these questions to send you down the right path of information gathering, so that you can make the best decision for YOU!
Have you worked with moms expecting twins? If so, that would be a great video on what to expect in the hospital especially during this time. My twins come in April! :) 😭😭😭 love the videos btw.
Congratulations! Absolutely! That's a great idea, thank you! I'll put something together before April! 💞😘
You should make a video more about doulas and maybe even what you have in your doula bag and maybe more info

Can you still do the video on prenatal yoga and kegal exercises that you mentioned in one of your videos? I just found your page and it’s very informative! I just found out I’m pregnant for the first time! 5weeks in and my first appointment is in two weeks. I’m trying to educate myself well in advance 🤗
Congratulations!!! Absolutely! It's in the works!
This is what I'm also thinking mid wife is more hands on and gentle.
I want a home birth because I want a doula with me… I can only have one support person at a hospital. Im just scared because it’s my first and I don’t know anything. Midwives are soooo expensive, I just wanted someone to be there day of birth. Like, I don’t want to pay $7k for a midwife and then need a hospital and pay another $7k
Yeah, that's definitely a risk you take. Hospital policies regarding visitors change day to day, so I would keep checking with them and ask if your labor companion and significant other can both be there.
You should make more consistent videos i love your content
Thank you! I'd love to have more time to do that, but working full time and having three kids keeps me pretty busy! I currently have two videos shot but just need time to edit 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️😜
@@PregnancyBirthParenting101 definitely understand but you have an undeniable talent. I'll be waiting happy holidays 😋
Can you make a video about asthma during pregnancy? If youre educated about that. Just found your channel . Thank you!
Hi! 🥰💞 What specific questions do you have regarding asthma in pregnancy?
@@PregnancyBirthParenting101 hi! I just wanted to know how it effects the pregnancy and if it could be dangerous for mom or baby?
Haley Saunders Yes please that would be so awesome and so informative especially during the Covid times with a cherry on top called asthma like some moms who are delivering her baby they’re having shortness of breath is it OK to get the Ventolin during delivery or what if the mom is having an asthma attack is there certain positions that would help more for a mom trying to catch her breath during labour and is there a trick since it’s Covid time everybody is expected to wear masks I know that it’s different in every hospital and even a different country but is there a certain tricks that you can do the deal with contractions in labour and also delivery while wearing a mask and also asthmatic also it would be really good and awesome if you can do a video about The nicu? I think that’s how u spell it never said I am a good speller.
Well, if you have an asthma attack and cannot breath then I would imagine the baby isn't going to be able to get as much oxygen either. That being said, in my 10 years of labor and delivery I've never seen someone with a history of asthma have an attack during labor. These are great questions to discuss with your provider since they know your personal history, medications, etc.
I would talk to your provider about all of the specifics, especially regarding medication. And I believe you could qualify for a medical exemption from wearing a mask during labor.
I wouldn't be able to do a home birth. I would be too scared of something happening. Plus I have spina bifida and my baby will have a pretty good chance of having it
Can you link your vbac please I’ve had two c sections at hospital now going for vbac with midwife doula at home clinic in water hopefully I plan expecting May - June my last cesareans we’re about 10&12 years ago I was young didn’t know any better started as a teen I now just turned 28 so I’m very interested for more support , thank you 😊
