Q:What pencil, paper, pen (etc) do you use?
A: I generally use a 2b drawing pencil and artist sketch paper, sometimes Bristol. Check out my Art Supplies video for more information. • Drawing Supplies
Q: How do you record your videos?
A: I use a Sony Handycam HD to record my videos and Adobe Elements Premier for editing
Q: Can I send you mail?
A: Yes! Make sure you check that the correct postage is on the envelope or it won't make it to me.
Q: Will you write me back?
A: If you include a self-addressed stamped envelope, I will reply back to you! :)
Q: Can you draw a picture of my dog. horse, cat, Mother (Etc)
A: Unfortunately, I am unable to take personal requests. If you are interested in purchasing a commissioned drawing from me, send me a message for more information.
Q: How can I get better at drawing?
A: The biggest thing you can do is keep drawing! Never give up.
I really appreciate this video(well all of your videos lol)! I always feel so bad when not finishing a sketch and moving onto something else. Or when my sketch looks so much better than my finished drawing. It makes me feel a lot better to know im not alone in that 💜

sometimes "dead" art looks better as sketches than a finnished piece since it adds a layer of emagination, i for one kind of like unfinnished sketches as long as its not too skribbily and unrecognizable

One thing : sometimes we put too much effort to do the work ... I think we tend to be a little bit too demanding from ourselves : what is good about sketching is that we try to get the essence of an idea : and sometimes we are not able to recognize the value of it immediatly !.. Know, I tend to draw as it comes and take a look at it without " judging " too seriously... and forget about this sketch a moment, and what is interesting in it is to come back to it later : your judgement will be more accurate !... as if it was a new drawing done from someone else although you know it's yours. It's kind of magic !.. You'll be able to improve the drawing as motivation will be present !.. ( a new sighting )... Forgive my english, I'm French... I hope you'll understand what I mean !..
I love fox pieces. I have lots of little foxy things in my studio, because I find them so cute! This piece is super adorable and I really hope it survives!
I see your point and there's nothing wrong with leaving sketches to the side but it's important I feel to go back to older sketches sometimes and take a second look.
Sometimes you'll be motivated to do something you never thought of doing with the piece initially.

I have so many pieces of art that just die. it can be frustrating if I have spent a lot of time on something but often is better to just let it die and move on to something else
Omg yes, I feel it so much when you line art sketch. Like, I've not posted much art the pass month or so since halloween even tho I'm drawing at least once a week xD
It looks so pretty and way more detailed than anything Id make. I think drawings like these look amazing, but I just dont have the patience to add that many details to my own drawings ^^:

Yes I've had the experience where I love a sketch but it loses something when I clean it up. I've heard several other people say it too.

I actually don't really like most of my sketches. I prefer my finished pieces. Maybe because my style is a little more bold, kind of cartoon like.
I’m left handed too + I lose my drawings after inking.
