    Really enjoying your story. It’s impressive how much you’ve managed to put into motion in such short space of time. Totally agree with your point on focusing on principles rather than solely techniques. Farming is not a cut and paste endeavor which many seem to think.

    Lovely stuff cathal, trying to start something from scratch in Tipperary but the cost & availability of any land is ridiculous.

    could you explain how you got your customers? i am setting up a farm myself and getting people to buy my produce would be the most difficult part.

      @@heatherhillfarm1303 i truly mean it. I have in the back of my stubborn head to also transition to more homesteading when i bring my familly out of China in 2 years. Hopefully finding a nice little farm somewhere in France. And seeing your staged process and evolution is a great inspiration. The only thing that bugs me the most is the insane french bureaucracy...i have been working out of France for the last 20 years because of that. But, now that we are more and more at the hands of the EU, and you managed to farm completely differently to the industrial standardd the EU is lobbied on, there might be hope then. Thanks again.
