But the honest truth is they are giving the big brands a real run for their money. China is stepping up and soon China will top tier, people just don't want that day to come. But it will. They get better each year.
It looks like it is designed using the following LLM prompt: "Design a car with a Maserati front, the back of a Mercedes CLA, the rear lights of a Peugeot and the interior inspired by an Alfa Romeo Tonale." The engine is not too shabby, apart from the long turbo lag. Once it goes, it goes, though, wheels spinning, throwing my phone against the cradle wall (you'll need it as there is no built-in SatNav). I have it as a longer-term rental in the UAE. You see them pop up everywhere. The aggressive yellow fellows stick out in a sea of white cookie cutter rentals.
By the way, in Sport mode the throttle response is very snappy! But in this setting, it dwells too long in 1st gear, despite repeated flappy input (behind the steering wheel). It's as if the TCU is reassembling the gearbox. Response to higher gear shift inputs is snappier.
Do not buy, spares are practically impossible to source and insurance is sky high. And, I wonder what other kinds of technology they harbour to........😱?
