  • What now with the Delta Variant. It is now responsible for most the COVID 19 infection surges globally. And yes...It has now entered the Philippines but so far no evidence of community transmission.
As more and more if Filipinos are vaccinated, now almost 10 Millions doses, do we worry about this Covid 19 Delta Variant?
Is SINOVAC which is the most commonly used Covid 19 Vaccine in the Philippines effective against Delta Variant?
Or are other COVID 19 Vaccines like Astra Zeneca, Pfizer or Moderna better and more Effective against the Delta Variant?
Most information in this video were sourced from the CDC website. Latest news information are sourced mainly from Twitter regarding Covid 19 delta variant outbreak and breakthrough infections after covid vaccinations.

Vaccination is very important BUT.. His logic is wrong
5:30 onwards.. 350 workers out of 5000 workers getting Covid does not tell you the efficacy/effective rate of the vaccine.
You CANT say that 7% had a breakthrough case UNLESS you knew for a fact that ALL 5000 were exposed to the Delta Variant Covid 19. And only 350 of them got it.
It's not a comparison that makes SENSE, you can't conclude that.
What if only 1000 out of the 5000 workers were actually exposed? It would mean that the breakthrough rate is 350/1000 = 35%. This is not factoring in the protection that masks and PPE gives..
Not logical thinking... Sigh, please amend your video, this is misinformation.

Please tell me what this Doctor has told you that the MSM has not told you , they are pushing the same narrative.
They are trying to make it out as if everybody is going to die from this virus with their nonsense new variants the virus has mutate thousands upon thousands of times, while a study that just came out from the US and UK showed that only 0.3% died from this virus and those countries where only telling people go home and isolate no treatment was given until they ended up in hospital so if they treated as so as people are tested as positive there would even much less deaths than 0.3%.

his conclusion of 93% effectiveness due to the 350 over 5000 vaccinated medical practitioners is not correct. Are all 5000 medical workers didn't wear mask and open for infection? I think most of them are very careful in protecting themselves, so only a few careless workers give the virus a chance to infect. If you want to said effectiveness, then you must know how many of them really open up for infection and only 350 got infected.

His logic is not wrong. He is applying the relevant statistical methodology used in all Phase III vaccine trials.
e.g. Pfizer, out of 43K+ participants, half got the vaccine half got a placebo. These individuals were all tracked over 3 months while being in the community. THEY WERE NOT ALL DELIBERATLEY EXPOSED. The result was over 90% efficacy against infection.
      Peer-reviewed evidence: www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/nejmoa2034577
      Here is peer-reviewed SINOVAC efficacy:
10mil+ tracked in Chile over 3 months, who had been given SINOVAC. 66% efficacy against infection, 87% efficacy against hospitalistion and 86% efficacy against death.
      Link: www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2107715
Examining the efficacy for Indonesian medical practioners, who are the MOST likely to be exposed to COVID continually despite PPE vs random participants in the community, gives the next most accurate analysis than a trial where all participants are deliberately exposed.

Of all other vaccines, i trust sinovac than all the other vaccine makers. It is safer to me when you read blood clotting, myocarditis, facial paralysis etc. For effectiveness and efficacy, i trust my own immune system than vaccines. If given a choice, i would not want to take any vaccine.
