Yep 😂 not cool to thrift in the 80's and 90's until buffalo exchange opened and it was all the rage to thrift. Great Haul. I had no idea used military patches sold.... I've passed up so many at the bins...we live near so many bases, there's a ton of uniforms and patches. We use to shop at Montgomery Wards, Sears, Kmart and JCPenney back in the 80's. Thanks for sharing. 😊
I went to Goodwills in the 1960's with my Mom. She raised me as a single Mom. People thought we were so well dressed. We never told people where we shopped.
Hi Bella's mom! Ha wiggleworm. We have a cart parking area. We really cannot take our carts with us, no room. New shoes at the bins is a rare find. The best thing to clean the bottom of the Skechers is LA Awesome oven cleaner from Dollar Tree. Spray, wipe with a magic eraser, or maybe anything, and it cleans right off. I went to the bins in Cleveland soon after they opened because I was there for work. It wasn't great but I did get enought to have to buy a suitcase there too, to take the stuff home. If I have to go back to Cleveland, I'll go again I'm sure. I"ve been thrifting since the 80's but I would keep my head down because I didn't want anyone to see me, or they'd think I was poor LOL.
Thank you on the cleaning tip : ) I haven’t been to the Cleveland Bins I went to the Cleveland Salvation Army once been didn’t have a lot of time to look, they have there prices cheap. I wish thrifting was COOL back when we were kids they way it is now!!!!
"You ordered a pizza or something.." had me dying 😂 lol. I think those boots might still sell this summer, lots of rodeos and summer country music festivals yet.
