    I remember Humph on a Friday night television programme called 'Here's Humph' with Tony Coe on clarinet and Jimmy Skidmore on trombone, lovely lovely memories.

    Tonight was first time I heard Hump - what a wonderful jazz man ! i will look up more of his jazz. Sorry i didn't find him sooner.

    Great jazz! Have a soft spot for this tune. ACcording to jazz history, it was written by my Uncle, Walter Melrose,,,Whether or not, you do a fantastic job on it...

    Yes, they were brothers. Lester, was also my uncle. They owned Melrose Publishing Co, but my father was not involved in the business.
