Good to know i can get one of these up here in canada! Im in ontario and this is literally my dream car. Orange 70s challenger with the wing, in hemi orange, 426 hemi with the manual, and the freakin shaker!
Lou Costabile do you know if old mopars has rubber bumpers And steel bumpers on the same car from factory? I’ve seen so many cudas / challengers with rubber in front and steel in the rear.
Very sharp looking car! Love the color combo! This one is def loaded for bear! I got very caught up in this story, lots of fun. Great car and story and the icing on the cake is seeing it now after the mess it was. With that rev n idle who needs a radio :-)... great sound!! Really fun vid!! Thank you!
Hi WickedFireFly13, A loaded car with 3 fender tags, and yet I'm surprised no radio option. That will be a mystery to me, but that is fun and interesting thing about the "stories" as you never know what you'll see and hear :-) Thank you for sharing your comment and you're welcome, Lou
LOU this is just an awesome great car. The only thing that I can say that it is a CHALLENGER. I LIKE THE CAR SO MUCH. APPRECIATE YOUR HARD WORK SHARING ALL TYPES OF GREAT CARS. THANKS LOU AND PLEASE HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY. KIND REGARDS HISHAM ELFIKI
Hi BR Speedy's Garage, I have been fortunate to listed together a wonderful Group of Care Takers, and I keep in touch with them on a monthly e-mail with 2 car videos and a list of my Sponsors. Regarding the comment "great work", thank you and it's encouraging :-) I'll do my best to bring you fun cars, Lou
Top of the morning Curtis. My pleasure sharing with you, you're welcome, and I'll take proper precautions and you do the same. Looking forward to being at car shows again soon, Lou
@@loucostabile btw, the mystery of the radio delete was actually spoken to by Tom in your French Hemi Cuda video, also radio delete. US radio at least at that time was not compatible with Europe radio signals. I lived in France for three years in the early 90s and I know the TV signals were not compatible so it was no surprise to me when Tom said this. This may have all changed now that the world is gone digital.
Hi Anthony, Happy to read you appreciate this car :-) Thank you for viewing, sharing and I believe you're going to see many more cars on this Channel you'll enjoy. Hope you Subscribe, and hit the "bell" so you can see all the cars when they are uploaded on this RUclips Channel, Lou
Thanks, Lou and All: these Hemi Challengers ( esp the One shipped to Switzerland are great History): interestingly before buying our 70 Coronet 500/383, loaded: I did really *consider a loaded SHOWROOM 70 Challenger from same Dealer( incl 4 speed,etc)...great stories,,...
*sigh* It's a great Challenger, Lou has presented to all of us at RUclips. The orange makes it look like a racing car, but it's not meant for racing. The white top is a topping: whipped cream! So, what I'm saying that is a Challenger in orange ice cream paint with whipped cream on the top. Ok, let's get serious. I love how the black stripes make it really stand out along with the air vents. Interesting how it needed a lot of work to restore. I love that interior... black is perfect for a match with orange. That engine... it's so big. The SOUND of the engine sounds like almost any classic car. For 1971, the Challenger line up was modified to include a new model, the "Challenger Coupe" with either a I6 or V8 engine, and as the most basic version it had fixed in position quarter windows and a basic black steering wheel with horn button.
Does anyone know if that sound coming out of the back is from stock-type mufflers? I've had some original muscle cars that didn't make much noise from the stock exhaust, I'm just curious because it's a Hemi.
P.S. If you type into RUclips search "My Car Story with Lou 426" & "My Car Story with Lou Hemi" I think you'll see and hear many more 426 hemi cars to compare this car too, Lou
I was the previous owner and restorer before I sold the car to Dave. The exhaust is the stock-type system with resonators and rear mufflers from YearOne bought in 2005.
It's not an RT SE, it was only available as JS29 type in 1970. This 1971 Challenger has the rare option "Formal Roof Package". It is a Swiss-Export car. These were often ordered without radio, because they wanted to offer a Philips unit. With this car the then buyer probably did not want a radio, because he only wanted to enjoy the sound of the hemi engine :-)

Hi Aaron, Happy to read your from Canada where I have MANY car friends. Great place for sure, Lou
This is the kind of imported car that us car guys approve of and can live with! Another super great car story. Thanks Lou.
Hi Fred and Debra MacDonald, Thank you for good laugh out loud on the import comment :-) You're welcome for this story, Lou
From a barn in Switzerland... how obscure. I wonder how many other amazing cars are hidden away.
Hmmm, not sure how many other amazing cars are hidden away.
One of the best looking cars ever.
Hi Bongo Dave, Glad you enjoyed the design of this one :-) Hope you see many more cars you'll enjoy on the Channel, Lou
Just as beautiful as the yellow one....
Hi Duececoupe, I felt they had to be added to the Channel as a pair :-) Lou
Another great car, Lou! I had to laugh, too. With a Shaker Hemi & a 4 spd., I wouldn't want to listen to the radio either.
I was surprised because you would think a Young Woman would have checked the radio option?
Lou Costabile do you know if old mopars has rubber bumpers And steel bumpers on the same car from factory? I’ve seen so many cudas / challengers with rubber in front and steel in the rear.
@@antonellaburnham6881 Cudas yes, but you never saw a 71 Challenger with rubber in front and steel in rear :-)

Beautiful Challenger. Greetings from Australia. #MOPAR
The twin to the yellow one :-)
Nice!
Agree :)
i have never seen a three fender tags Mopar car before wow really unique
Hi Lino Vieira, I can not recall a 3 tag car either. Thank you for viewing, Lou
This one is a too a 3 fender tag car:ruclips.net/video/R0pyVUqL2BA/видео.html
wrong , that car has 2 fender tags and the asking price was 2.000.000
Wrong , 3 fender tags means 2 tags with codes and 1
with „HEMI FENDER“. The 2 mio cuda has the same: 2 code-tags and 1
HEMI-FENDER-tag.

Lou Costabile glad you "like it" too.
Here it is. Old memories
LMAO, she didn't wanna radio so he would have to listen to her.
