Well done Martin!! Your horse is a credit to you. I know how much you love and appreciate your beautiful animals x
I love the term "heavy horse". They are a noble beast.
Damn I love this guy even more! Didn't know he was a horse lover too! Congratulations, your guy had the wind up his tail this day but his quality showed through.
What a wonderful video! I absolutely love Martin Clunes. And horses. And drafters. I would have loved to have been there.

The palimino? Yes very nice horse agreed.
I read he hated being mean to the dogs on his Doc. Martin show
Love the side pass Mr Clunes! You and your horse are awesome!!
Congratulations Martin, from a great fan in Miami, FL, USA.
Gorgeous horse. Has Martin's personality.
He does! Some horses have a sense of humor and fun that lasts a lifetime.

My uncle used to work for the guy Ronnie Black who bred Martin's horses. They came from a farm Called Calessie in Fife. All his horses are well looked after and loved. They all have amazing breeding in them

This was a treat watching the "Doc" and his horse competing and he won! Beautiful animals!
I kept waiting for someone to playfully shout "tosser!" as he made his way around. 😁
Love this video
Absolutely gorgeous horses! My great-grandfather had drafts on his farm in Germany; pictures show they looked like Clydsdales. Great video. My favorite draft are the Shires. Magnificent horses.
I loved watching this x

I love giant horses, giant dogs., they r beyond Awesome!
Love this man
Sorry to hear that the Buckham Fair was not held this year. Beautiful animals.
I think it was for multiple reason, one being to give everyone a break, especially Martin Clunes who had multiple filming commitments this year. Another was apparently land / parking issues, as supposedly the new owner of some of the land used for parking wasn't happy about it continuing in its current format. Hopefully though it will return in August 2020.
Those big horses aren’t needed for drafting anymore so the breed is dying out. Very expensive to support.Glad to see they are still supported in GB.
Farming with draft horses is alive and well in the U.S. As city dwellers move to the country to give it a go at homesteading a draft horse is a must if you are going totally green.
Well done Bruce, had great pleasure in watching Bruce and Ronnie going through there training to become harness working horses, so I can actually say Bruce is a true working horse on the farm.
I had no idea that Martin was into horses! Well done !!!!
Teeny tiny bows on their great huge hinies!!!
❤👏👏beautiful Martin 👏👏❤
Gorgeous, correct horse. Martin is too self effacing about his horsemanship; he has excellent skills and genuine feel.
Gefällt mir mal was anderes guter Schauspieler schöne Serie ,bitte mehr davon 👍♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Shown well and nice horse
Doc Martin 😍🤗
Beautiful animals
WHAT MARVELOUS ANIMAL
Nice to see Martin smile?
I couldn't hear if Martin's horse was Ronny or Bruce? Beautiful horse and looks like a wonderful fair!
It was definitely Bruce!
😁😁😁👏👏👏, io non capisco niente di cavalli, ma quello del doc Martin mi sembrava bìrichino🤣🤣🤣
My favorite was the big tan one
You mean the Palomino? Also, you clearly know little about horses.
@@brynneweeks986 you mean the Chesnut. I didn't spell it wrong either as that's the true spelling of the colour of a Suffolk punch. Clearly it's you that needs educating about horses before trying to mock others!
@@brynneweeks986 What a nasty stuck up remark ,to many in the horse sector are bitchy and arrogant, stupid fool.
Beautiful horses, why not this year? Would love to see this show.

@@cjhuk thanks for the answers. Was Mr Clunes the host ?
Yes, in a sense, a lot of it is a free roaming type of fair, with rides and stalls, etc, but some of the dog shows Martin would host and present the prizes himself, whereas others were hosted by different people.
I would have thought it was due to the Pandemic if you're talking about 2020
man i love horses..
all i get nowadays is lions and tigers and zebras..
and they dont particularly like me.. ahahaha..
doc johnny vmd
sicily and congo
Who can tell me where is woodbridge that is mentioned whenever the surgery is closed
Hi @misstorina3, do you mean "Wadebridge"? If so, it's a town about 20 minutes South from Port Isaac (Port Wenn), and unlike the fictional village name of Port Wenn used in Doc Martin, the town of Wadebridge is a real place :)

💖
They are all so beautiful, It would take a real horseman to filter the differences. Martin must have short circuited the choice, with the few pound notes he put on the bridle... great idea.
i love draft horses.
Clunesy behaving well.
Beautiful animal!!they are amazing. They don’t HAVE to do anything for their people, and yet they do. Gladly. Mostly. Lol. Who wouldn’t give Martian first. But the horse is gorgeous.
😊👍💙💜💚
👍🎉👏😃
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏✍👏✍✍✍✍👏👏👏👏✍✍
Beautiful animals. Love there braided tails.
you LOVE it...? horses need their tail in its natural form, they hardly enjoy being pulled on it for hours to make this... ehh... haircut? not to mention it looks ridiculous and ugly
I was here for the horses....took me a few minutes to figure out who Martin Clunes was.....sorry dude
Doc

Clune's horse thinks humans are boring.
I hope the horses tails are just braided, and not actually cut? Otherwise an extension of the cruelty of old.
I Am Not Trying to Ruffle Any Feathers:: Out of Curiosity,, does Anyone Think he won beCause he is Dr. Martin??
Frances Norred that horse doesn’t need Clunes, he is gorgeous
Frances Norred No Frances. His horse clearly the best in his class. 😀
No. His horse is beautiful.
Should there have been any favouritism, I'd say it's because he is the president of the BHS.
No, I don't think so. The second I saw his horse walk in the ring, I thought he was magnificent. I know nothing of the standards for draught horses / heavy horses and only a very little about Thoroughbreds. In my *uneducated* opinion, his horse had the best conformation ... short straight back, well-developed shoulder in proportion to powerful hindquarters, balanced height/leg length, beautiful arched neck, intelligent face, some spirit, and when in motion...he was lovely. And of course, Martin Clunes would likely have more financial resources to put towards breeding or purchasing horses than most, if not all of his competition.
I wonder how the horses feel when they lose.
Seemed biased.
I kinda feel bad for the local peolpe when rich peolpe with a high dollar horse shows up. Even thow i like martin .
Mr Bean...
Why do they have to plait the horses tails like that ? !, it looks totally stupid akin to an Elephant without a trunk !.
Ps I think Martin is a wonderful Actor.
it does. and it's really bad for the horses. I feel really sorry for those who had their cut off with flesh and bone. that should be illegal (and probably is). the morons who did this should have their hands cut off or at least tied and be left naked with lots if mosquitos.
AvionicsGuru so the judge can see the rear muscular clearly.
@@constancecondit4349
It still doesn't make it right just so a judge can see a bit of muscle, what a load of crap he or she could lift the tail.
Chinese kids used to have their feet bound too !, do you support that as well ?.
Traditionally tails were docked to prevent them from being caught and injured in harness or mechanical equipment.
Why is he making a farce of the showing ring? And then is awarded first place when the horse was bad mannered, had less conformation points than some of the others and was badly handled. That is what is poor about the horse showing world, its not what you turn out but who you know.
They would be much more beautiful with natural long tails, but what to do when perverted people are everywhere...maybe they are preparing them for switching the sexua orientation, just in case 😃
yeah those people must be really sick... they actually harm the horses too
