I was wanting to teach my dog forever to differentiate between her toys, but seem to have failed to repeat the names often enough. So thank you for your video!!!
However, I was wondering for how long you have repeated this procedure with one toy until you introduced new toys?
Great dog, great effort and my highest respect for invensting so much time.

I've been wondering if his method differs from mine. My 16 month old kelpie It's about the same. I show him 'this is___' then 'bring ___'. His verbs are take, bring, go get (like bring but indicates distance), nose and paw. He only has about 22 toys but it's ever growing and he can learn them in one sitting like this......He struggles when there's more than 8 to choose from or if the toy is out of sight when other toys are in sight. Much work to do, but good to know the methods are the same.

What a wonderful man and story, but I think the music is out of place.

Hi Melissa, we agree about the music! My dad was always a fan of Latin music and not the best producer in these early videos. :)
