Strauss' story is similar to mine in so many ways. At almost 61 years of years I refuse to grow up, staying committed to my emotional, spiritual and physical health. If you can do this properly and regularly, anything is possible at any age no matter what obstacles come your way. Strauss has figured out the ingredients to a fulfilling life and has done so brilliantly. Kudos to you sir!

I liked how he explained that he embraced looking awkward, and he let go of how he looked doing sports. And he was patient and persistent, and over time he really became a good athlete. And he mixes in some modesty when explaining his aptitude for fitness.

Ah yes, the man who has incensed and angered an entire video game community who has modded and revered GTA for more than a decade.
Literally, this man is responsible that the best and funnest way to play your multiplayer game… is solo with mods so you don’t waste a second on the grindy missions with rapid fire bugs and stuck in infinite loading screens, that lose your progress in the mission but doesn’t forget you destroyed your personal vehicle in that mission that according to the game didn’t happen. I’ve never had to restart an application more than GTAOnline.

Funny how many jump on the 'He's rich so it was easy' bandwagon, sounds like excuses to me. Rather than bash him for being rich and then dismissing everything he has said as just mere gloating, learn from the guys lessons, that you can start small, you need a goal in mind, age is not a barrier unless you allow it to be, and you don't have to agree with him on every point and even if you do they are still valuable because they have highlighted your opinion on that topic. If this talk does nothing more than to get one of you to take even the smallest positive action then this video was worth it and he should be thanked for sharing his story.

Some good advice here. From a 62 year old’s perspective.
Know what you want, and have a plan of how to get there. Nothing new here. Goal, determination, having a structure, being self-disciplined (i.e. you do go the work even when you don’t feel like it), following through. That’s what Tony Robbins’ work is all about. But first, know what you want.
