Sunsets looked great,so did churches! There are so many churches! What's amazing is all Hindus (other Indians too irrespective of religion) visit the churches and get lots of photographs inside these churches. Truly a great example of unity in diversity & of a nation that came out of adversity!

please note these churches were built by Goans from Old Goa with a possible guidance on architecture from Portuguese rulers and Goan Hindus were also involved with their intricate and precise craftsmanship.
it was time in history, the rest of India was ruled By Mughals and their sultans who treated Indians brutally, followed by the British, while Goa remained Portuguese Province for almost 5 centuries of colonial era.
peterknott37 not all india was ruled by mughals northeast india was not ruled by mughal some south states and yes Portuguese occupied Goa but they were also not good only the white Portuguese side of Goa was developed and the Indian side was a slum.

Lol, of course it was "under portuguese guidance". And chapels inside with highly detailed carvings are portuguese made. The structure itself was not even if it belongs to portuguese architecture.

Yes. It was a period of Inquisition where millions of Goa-Konkan people were forcibly converted or killed and a period of destruction of Temples during that time. Was the toughest period in Indian history

Thanks for the appreciation! I always list the cameras used in the video description. I start with automatic mode and then based on my experience I adjust the settings if needed to improve the shot (and sometimes this would happen in post processing)

One thing I found really strange is number of statues inside the churches. They are filled with statues of Jesus, Mary and saints. More like aping a Hindu Temple for some reason. Normally people go to hear gospel not for idols. That's very weird.
