the "Melanin Handsome" is a reference to Sik-K's song "Melanin Handsome" in which he is proud of having darker skin than the average Korean which is signifcant because there is a lot of colorism in Asian countries for people who are darker skinned, even if ethnically the same race and all that - they are looked down upon and there are "skin-brightening" products and shit. Its disgusting. I'm Indian and in India there are a lot of these kinds of products and colorism, the case is the same in Korea and China and other asian countries.
kid milli is one of those rappers who plays with flows.. if i had to compare him with current western rappers, it would be someone like JID.. i hope you check him out.
