you forgot to mention Snout Spout's tusks are detachable to give him a more classic look and the tusks plug into the ends of his axe
the idea that he-man fans would consider anything "too goofy" is utterly insane to me.

The BuzzOff wave was stellar minus Grizzlor. But the Mew Eternia has been pretty stellar throughout. I JUST WISH THEY'D IMPROVE ON THE ELBOW ARTICULATION TO ALLOW FOR A STRAIGHT OUT FULLY EXTENDED ARM!
For my Tri klops, I would put his sash belt over his left shoulder instead. Reason being, you could sheath both swords in a that cool 'X' manner like most sword warriors would do back then. It's really awesome looking
another feature you neglected to mention is that Mekanek can hold his club the opposite way, and use it as a telescope, and it can telescope out with the neck extensions
Had I been patient, I would not have spent so much on Classics on EBay. Snout spout is fantastic. Do a Draego Man masterverse
Snout Spout is a major highlight. Masterverse is at its best when it’s a big hulking beast of a character. I still feel like the human characters are lacking.
Did not realize that Triklops sheath could fit over the fixed sheath. I had the sash on him the opposite way so he could hold both of his swords on his back. Great review as always Dan.
Snout Spout was like...top 4 favorite original figures for me. 😆 (King Hiss, Extendar, Snout Spout and Mosquitor)

I really liked that last shot with the staction, new eternia and classics ones all together, it looked like a squad of variant eternian fire fighters.
I actually liked the original Snout Spout. I didn't realize he looked depressed until you pointed it out Dan! Thanks a lot! He was cool because he came later in the original line and I loved how the line took the Conan the Barbarian concept and did everything they possibly could with it. The elephant firefighter should been a fighter in one of the Deathstalker movies! No, even Roger Corman thought he looked cheesy and said, "Sorry. We're going with the pig headed guy." Well , I love you Snout Spout!
I'm really digging these newer figures with this giant hulking Snout Spout as the highlight - great episode this week!
Back when Masters of the Universe Classics came out you got me back into collecting figures Dan. The new show derailed me on collecting a little but I think you may have intrigued me again with these new groovy figures.

Yep. So glad I jumped into Masterverse in late '22 after finding the first two waves on deep clearance on Amazon. I love the current direction of this line. We need more New Adventures though - Flogg, Flipshot, Hydron, Caz and Drissi!

Mattel owns dinoriders. He-ro fights dinasaurs. It just makes sense to place Rulons and crulos in the line. The parts for viper are their . They can turn Frog monger into Crulos. Slap that head on Man E faces give him a helmet

Tri-Klops always has been my 2nd or 3rd fave behind Trap Jaw & Mosquitor. And I absolutely love this basically perfect version(I always loved the mini-comics look so of course I got that origins 1). I also love the Snout Spout and picked 1 up as well

I love all of these, specially Snout Spout (minus the fact he was exclusive -.- ) but I have love/hate relationship with NE Tri-klops. I had to get it as it is a damn good figure and it is a better than the Revelation Tri-klops in pretty much every aspect but damn it, it doesn't have the colors of the original figure and has that scale-y loin cloth and these things annoy the hell out of me. I can't believe I am saying this but he might actually end up being dressed as a cult leader Tri-Klops. 🤣
They all look great. Passed on Snout Spout cuz trying to stick to only the evil henchman in the NE line, but if/when they do NE Fisto, I might finally cave!
Mattel did wonderful things with these three Guys who never got so much Love like other Characters👍
I wouldn't be surprised if when the revolution figures are done, masterverse gets rebranded as New Eternia
New Eternia is great, but there are two waves that have become way too expensive. The Stratos wave I saw once in stores. The Webstor wave never appeared. Webstor is going for triple digits, atm. The figures are fun to purchase, when you can find them.
They are widely available when they are first announced but people had got used to the sales....these later waves stay available for a shorter amount of time so definitely pick and choose wisely. But I've never seen them sell out fast, they stick around for awhile before they do.

Thanks for another great review. When you do Comparison Time with the new Origins Stranger Things Skeletor, please include the vintage figure so we can see how close the colors are between the two figures.

I thought those marble-effect streaks were a flaw in my piece, but now I know that's exactly how it was made.
I honestly don't like the blue marble/metallic body. I would have preferred a matte blue.

I think the Horsemen may have gotten their Snout Spout head inspiration from Mega Man X Master Robot Flame Mammoth. Cool either way but I can see the similarities.
Out of curiosity, would the neck pieces on the Masterverse Mekaneck fit on the Classics head peg?
Watched this to try and decide between Tri-Cylops and Mechaneck (miss out on Snout Spout). Still can’t decide, they’re both too good!

Sure, they are not from the original line, but they do have some nice designs that would look cool with the other figures.
If they ever make a New Eternia Rattlor i hope they apply the same neck function as this Mekaneck

I'm so bummed that I couldn't afford the new Snout Spout when he came out. This one by far is my favorite!
I just checked the Mattel shop, and it looks like Snout Spout is back in stock.
I´m not a Masters fan. If anything, the only figure I´ve liked so far has been the Masterverse Two-Bad. But this Triclops is also really good. Love the olive green he has. And the combination of that green with his skin tone (so tanned) looks amazing. I look at it and does takes me back to a barbarian fantasy world.
Packaging changes are usually for the worse, but I am loving the new look as well - can't wait to see how much artwork we get with the new deluxe packaging
Not a good sign that I rarely see new anything Masterverse at Target (the only store near me that even carries MOTU) anymore. I'm happy the line is continuing onward but frankly I'm always shocked that it is.

Unfortunately Mattel messed up the Biceps at most of the Masterverse Snout Spouts by accidentally swapping them. The right Biceps is on the left Atm and vice versa. Not a big Deal but it´s one of the "Once you see it..." things.
They didn't mess anything up, it was...uh....it was a Classics "homage". 😅 (Joking of course, but they swapped the biceps parts in Classics all the dang time)
My top 5 figures I had were Trap Jaw, Tri-Klops, Extendar, Snout Spout and Man at Arms. Never cared for Mekkaneck or had him. This don't count He-Man and Skeletor they are in a category of their on.
First real, we need more Snake Men, more Sun Men, you know what... just everything

For some reason my tri clops didn’t come with the sword with the green hilt it came with the Revaluations tri clops sword with the gold hilt.
These action figures are too cool to be so limited.
Mattel really needs to step up their distribution game.

While I like the Revelation/Revolution figures much more than New Eternia, I do like this latest batch of New Eternia figures.

Tri-klop is my favourite charactor but i am not a fans of the new Mattel serious. Hope that Mondo will bring us a 1/6 version
Mattel is trying to follow Hasbro's "lead" with the smaller windows on the boxes.
The full sized windows were ideal. This is just pandering to people that never buy any of these figures.
I'm only into Origins figures.
It is a real shame it is so difficult to buy Masterverse Snout Spout if you are on the very small list of countries Mattel Creations ships to :(
I got a couple of figures before the shipping ragnarok, and all came fine, I really can't understand why Mattel just decided "no, we'll NOT sdell to most of the world".
My Wal-Marts aren't carrying MOTU anymore. Too much peg warming. Same with Super Powers...my fav line right now...Wal-Mart just could not sell wave 2 or 3 of that line.

I really started loving this line when they released Clawful, Whiplash, Webstor, and Ram man. The modernization of them was so amazing. Clawful Looks so menacing and Webstor is really creepy looking with the red jeweled eyes. I have quite a few figures from before Clawful wave but they have been nailing it with these newer waves. Glad I didnt buy a trap jaw or triklops till the new ones came out. I got Snout Spout a while back. Hes a BEAST!!!
