Honestly that's what I love most about some of the Muppets movies, like the Christmas Carol. The humans all play it straight, while the Muppets are their crazy selves.
This would work really well cuz Kermit apart from the fact that he’s a muppet isn’t even that goofy, he’s actually normal af. So he would fit rather well, I feel like he’s one of the only « mascot » characters that actually feel like an actual person, most likely cuz he’s directly based on Jim Henson’s personality. That’s what makes him so likable in the first place.

So many fantastic scenes, holy shit. You could definitely make a great sci-fi comedy with the premise of Kermit getting transported to a universe where humanity's on the verge of total enslavement by an alien combine and he's their last hope of survival - I'm sure there's a parallel universe where this was an actual 80's/90's movie hahahaha

This combo feels so right yet so wrong
Back in the early days of the original Half-Life multiplayer I often used a custom Kermit the Frog player model. His hit box was way smaller and I liked the animations where he'd pull an RPG out of thin air from behind his back.

Kermit might actually be better equipped to cope with the trauma of war than Gordon Freeman. Gordon goes silent and bottles up whatever he's going through which is super unhealthy. With Kermit, whatever he's thinking or feeling, he's going to let you know. The frog is much better equipped to talk it out.
He doesn't talk because valve wants to make it so the players are more like Gordon Freeman since he didn't talk even before the black mesa incident
