I enjoyed that more than I was expecting to. In particular the action sequences in the pools, featuring the Polar bears and the seals, were splendid. I am not usually a fan of zoos and don't really approve of them. But it must be said that the bears and the seals were really enjoying their antics. They are both excellent swimmers. The slow motion sequence was also impressive but I am not sure if the original photographer created that or whether it has just been created in the editing. I guess it's likely to be the latter.
Between about 1969 - 2015 ive probably been to Dudley Zoo about 15 times, many Changes in that time. Oi remember Wolves, Dolphins, Elephants, Polar Bears, Killer Whale etc

The slow mo looked deliberate. It was an impressive thing to see that polar bear diving.
Used to visit in the 1960s, remember elephant rides, chimps tea parties, the fun house and castle
Just like I remembered. I always thought the cages for the leopards and panthers were small but otherwise a good zoo for the time.

Fantastic video!
wy no sound
Because it's an 8mm home movie, and (nearly all) 8mm film had no sound track and therefore couldn't capture the sound.
