Water & waste management is the most challenging thing for human civilization...if supply chain management from resources to production as commodity Working as corporate ways then awareness & monetary benefits can change the people's behaviour impacts... Most common people think it's a backward problem as nobody wants as others didn't do that see as quick fix manners... Best line" if u mix it u miss it" If 40% bulk waste is managed as a channel partners manner it can be speedy awareness as employees & employers family awareness as they seen the changes with education centre for youth awareness as their lifestyle can be more fruitful to change the behaviours towards waste management...
Everybody's responsibilities are 1. Make compost at home with your wet waste. If you don't have plants at home, you can throw the ready compost near the roots of any tree. 2. Reduce the use of plastics as much as possible and eventually bring it to zero in your home. Rather use sustainable alternatives. 3. Properly discard sanitary waste.
The height of waste accumulated in Mumbai close to the Airport, height is nearly say 3 km . Every now and the Airport authority of India gives permission to Mumbai Corporation to increase the height of the garbage DUMP which is very close to the Airport.
Indeed a great topic to be discussed but then it's in english..We are just talking about urban India but if you go into the interior rural India where plastic has reached and they are not aware of plastic disposable, the waste management system there is little work done. So It would have been better that such topics are discussed in hindi where the majority of India can understand and actually start working upon it.

Good video! The experts have mentioned most of the important points. One important point, not discussed on any waste management platform is: Technology, service providers, space, work force, funds everything is in place, still why do we not have efficient waste management? No matter how many private parties rope in, local bodies have the space and the funds, collected in the form of taxes, in their possession. In efficiency and reluctance of doing the job is responsible for the waste management problem today. I have been working on this actively for the last 30 years along with my profession. We are still discussing the basics!
We need separate ministry for waste management. The amount spent for freebies we can use it for wate management. Government should bring strict laws and hotels, small business and traders, street vendors have to use only natural items not plastic containers, bags etc
I can’t help but laugh when people genuinely believe the government alone can fix this. Sure, the country belongs to the government; we’re just here as guests, right? So, of course, we’ll ignore the plastic ban, forget cloth bags while shopping, burst crackers on the road and leave the mess behind, buy plastic bottles for single use, and pour chemicals from soaps and shampoos down the drain-all while expecting the government to magically clean it all up! After all, why should we lift a finger when "they" can handle everything? Perhaps it's time we remember that real change starts with us-one choice at a time.
This interview is awesome! It gives great tips on what people can actually do, instead of just watching and not taking action. I'd love to see more informative interviews like this.♻️

Segregation is very important for the wet waste to decompost and get back to earth. Many people throw, wet waste in plastic covers.
