I remember whatching this when I was 16yo alone in my room listening to indie music, falling in love with pixelart and your style... I'm so glad you are still doing art in your videogames... no califico para ser tu fan pero si me considero un gran admirador de tu trabajo, saludos octav
Hi everyone! Just a quick note: I love to check all your lovely comments and questions and I always try to answer each one of them. Sometimes, though, your RUclips 'privacy settings' won't allow me to reply, so keep that in mind if you don't get any answer from me. Thank you everyone for your support! :)
subbed, somehow , you managed to put every single emotion into a pixel art scene in the most beautiful of ways, this piece had me stunned , and tears on the part of the old man , this is just amazing
This was awesome. I can literally feel all the emotions shining from this pucture. All the love, happiness, sadness and friendship. All in one. It is great to see, that there are people with such a great talent! Keep up the great work. :)
I would just like to say thankyou. Because of your artworks, I have been able to teach myself to make detailed pixel-art drawings! Your artworks always give me inspiration for things to draw, and videos like this allow me to visualize how you draw your artworks which helps me even more when I'm stuck on how to draw things! Before I found you I didn't know how to shade, make 3D objects or draw smooth curves, and I know it all now! So Thankyou very much. (If you wanted to see some of my own artworks, I could email them to you if you wish) :)
this is crazy beautiful. it would be even more amazing if it was animated, but of course it's already extremely great as it is!! you really made me get into pixel art. i wonder if i'll ever be able to do something as great as this!
Its an amazing piece. Im trying to recreate it and animate it to practice using unity and piskelapp and it makes me tear my hair apart realising the amount of work thats put into it. Really talented
Octavi Navarro... from Barcelona. I'm finding an increasing number of Spanish people making wonderful creative things. Whe you think of Stereotypes, Italians have amazing architecture, cars and food. The French have a very open minded and inviting attitude towards art and style. The Germans have an inventiveness and efficient mindset. Spanish have always been seen as the sunny place to go for resorts, while the natives enjoy hurting bulls, riding donkeys and throwing tomatoes at each other for festivals. Well, everywhere I look lately, the Spaniards are kicking ass. Of course, you lot have always had Dali.
May I just say, and this may sound a bit disconcerting to you but I thought of went through the process of copying your work to see how I can embrace the feel and flow of making something like this. I'm not going to put it online of course I am just practicing so that I may come to doing something completely original one day. I'm sure you understand considering that I am only experiencing pixel art for the first time. Your work though is truly pure aesthetic genius.
Beautiful........ you really deserves more. You should really try making game art. Ask some to code, and you can make a game. I would pay anything for that.
Currently making a sci-fi post apocalyptic game, needed a slums for one of the planet's, thanks for this idea! Will hide an Easter egg somewhere in this area of your channel URL if I remember
This is awesome! I love your all of your work, It never fails to amaze me. Oh and also, Are you planning on doing any tutorials in the near future? Because I would like that very much :D
+Dylan Brownie Thank you so much!! :) If you haven't yet, check out this little "Making Of" I wrote about one of my scenes. You might find it useful: pixelshuh.com/384409/tutorials
Wow... this is really, really nice... you could have stopped half way there, and it still would've been a nice image... but the final result... is just beautiful. KUDOS.
Beautiful! Simply amazing work! Have you ever considered doing maybe a tutorial or something, I love pixel art so much but I struggle at making a pixel character, If you don't make a tutorial can someone please point me in the right direction to learning to make pixel art?
Hey man! Extremely impressive work! I only wish to be at this level one day!!! question: to do the lighting, i see you grab a selection around the light, then you increase the brightness of all the pixels? very impressive techniques. wow.
Thanks a lot Ben!! :D Yes. I always try to avoid this kind of modifications, but sometimes, if I see that a lighting effect doesn't work as I'd like, I select the pixels I want to modify and change the brightness or tone until I'm happy with the results.
thank you! :) Sure, I wrote this 'making of' about the creation process of one of my pieces that might answer your questions: pixelshuh.com/384409/tutorials
