Just started pixel art last week, your work is inspirational!!! You have a very thoughtful technique about your colors & shading, the good thing is that you don't overkill it I feel, even with so many colors you still stay humble and don't go overboard trying to do too much at once, I learnt quite a bit!
This is a blast to watch but you better turn the sound off and put on some mellow stuff like lofi idk so relaxing this guy really make a lot of pixels I like seeing all the little decisions he makes and imo he don't miss! Nice video
for this one 480x270px. To scale up or down in Photoshop, go to preferences(CTRL + K), click the list in image interpolation and choose Nearest Neighbor(preserve hard edges)
Yeah. Its possible. Aseprite also has layers. You can do it without layers but it would be difficult. As you won't be able to move individual things freely. Without cut and paste. Even piskel (it's free) has layers now
Gosh i just don't like photoshop but you should really do sum tutorials thanks. I want to create a game or anime but creating original characters and backrounds is my problem as i can't draw and most software cost to much for me.
try asesprite, there's also graphics gale and gimp, They all function similarly and are free or way way cheaper. I'd recommend getting the basics of drawing and shading first before jumping into pixel art or learn those basics on pixel art. Good luck.
Hate to break it to you pal, but that ain't really pixel art. Pixel art fits within small confines, that's what makes it PIXEL aarrtt. Any digital non-pixel art has many little pixels in it. So for it to be truly pixel aarrtt, it needs to have pixels be a big part of it. You can't give yourself too high a resolution, otherwise it's not the art.. of the pixels. It's using each pixel in a good and important way. ...I think that's all I have to s- Nice music, though. Yeah.
But he has not limited himself to a compact resolution. In order for the pixels to really become important, they need to have the burden of being the right colour in the right place. Remember it's pixel *art*
@@peterlyons1392 And this is exactly what he is doing .. Every pixel is important , look into his charchter for example , or look even into his channel , he is a pro artist , and he know exactly what he is doing
Speedpaint is a way of drawing, timelapse is the way of presenting the drawing process. This is a timelapse of pixelart drawing, which is not speedpainting.
This looks amazing! I so badly want this to be an actual game. The atmosphere, the character designs, the story possibilities are all so exciting.
give me some of the possiblities
it is an actual game

for this one 480x270px. To scale up or down in Photoshop, go to preferences(CTRL + K), click the list in image interpolation and choose Nearest Neighbor(preserve hard edges)
Bruh...you're amazing o.o

@@Kirokaze ah i see, thx for replying and keep up the good work :)

Nice job! Did you make the color palette yourself, or did you use a palette generator etc.?
Talent,
how you do this the animation? I dont have the option in my CS6 photoshop
The rout for open the timeline is, "layer" ->"video layers" -> "new empty video layer".
How long have you been doing this man? And are you self taught or did you go to school for this?

Hi,

I love this! I'm slowly edging my way into pixel art although the best I can do is tiny things in MS Paint. How long did this take?
i kept saying 5-6, but the whole thing could be 8 hours sketching and palette included. who knows exactly It was a while.
@Esyrim Piskel and Graphics Gale are free software you could use to make pixel art. They are much better than MS Paint.
Do you want to teach me pixel art?

Looks good, but why are they all panting?
when i make a you tube channel i want you to be the editor just the same sized pixels
Nice work, but the background music sucks.
that should be this channel banner
It`s speedpaint. Not timelapse.
what do you call the animation? :3

That music is awful.
Software????
