    NICE LIGHTING. The fenestration on the right side creates a play of light inside. These kind of set-up is a disregarded by lot of 3d artists especially those works I have seen. They tend to not give attention on how light and shadows are being created by the opening. You can see at the edge of the table that it is not shiny all the way. A shadow is cast from the left which is the division of the window which is one way of making a good photographic scene.
    I just have a few comments.
    FRAMING first. The angle feels a little bit stretched vertically. Try experimenting on the focal length of your camera to mimic how the eye would see the space. Minor change but would make big difference to the scene.
    TEXTURES. The bump on the stool is way too much and also on the wall. You can make it more natural by matching its size to an actual wood and concrete material. Also the texture mapping is odd. It looks like laminated veneer with the way the bitmap ends meet. Choose the best texture mapping option or even unwrap the texture and match it to the shape of the stool. But if it's too much of a hassle, you can just rotate the chair where the ends of the bitmap cannot be caught by the camera. Your floor texture also was missing? hehe. I think it would be great to match wall texture with the floor because it has good glossiness already just adjust the texture size a bit lower. Even better if you can map the glossiness parameter of the floor to make some spots matte(dusty or worn out a little) and some spots glossy(probably due to moisture). These things manifest on a real floor which is susceptible to changes because we contact it roughly and more often than the walls.
    PLACEMENT OF 3D assets. I like the potted plant a lot. It highlights the lighting of the scene since the pot is spherical. Yet you can make it more interesting if you place it somewhere 1/3 of the table length on the second camera view. Anyway this is just my suggestion based on actual photographic set where you have to move pieces of furniture and accessories just to capture the scene better. The chairs also are perfectly placed on the second view. Depending on whatever you want to achieve, the stool placement play a subtle role on the three dimensional aspect and authenticity of the scene towards realism. You see, people in the real world don't line their chairs/stools perfectly when they leave the table or even when sitting unless it is a showroom by which what I see from your scene is more likely a cozy dining-kitchen area of an house.
    Best of luck mate! You have a talent :)

    I downloaded a corona scene and there are so many objects and and different materials assigned to it.
    Is there a way to find which material is assigned to object in the slate material editor.

      Hello Surendiren, I'm sorry to hear that and really don't know why it happened to you, you can pick the material and follow the source of the material to fix it, or please can you contact me on Instagram so I can follow up with you and see what is the problem, and we can fix it together.

    How can solve the corona infinite render times with passes and how can I limit the passes in corona.

    • @FarouqAlaswad
      @FarouqAlaswad  3 года назад

      Hello Surendiren, that's easy .. From the corona setting, go for Scene section, you'll find a passes limit, time, noise level ...
      For my advice, put noise level to 5 (don't limit the passes), and use a the High quality denoiser (without densoier you should wait noise level to 3% not 5%).
      And that's all 🌸
