That's what we did. Did not renew our season membership with the Lynx, got RT tickets to Indianapolis for $150 each and will watch Fever vs. NY over Memorial Day weekend at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. So excited to be in Indiana and the weekend will cost far less than what Lynx is trying to price gouge the Lynx season ticket holders for wanting to include Indiana in their membership package.

Sometimes people make mistakes. Sometimes they don't see things clearly right away. The good of the matter is that sometimes they change their attitude and perception and admit they are wrong. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.
Generally the revenue from ticket sales will largely go to the team selling the tickets (the home team) as the visiting team would only have a few tickets allocated to them, usually for guests / friends / family. So in this case, the Lynx will get the proceeds of the packages and / or higher ticket sales

If the visiting team is the factor driving thie market up and the cooling effect of the price is impacting primarily their fans then it is not generally any more. Assuming at least a stamdardized amount of the income is paid to the WNBA, then they should have the authority to make an adjustment applying more equity to the seat price.

Women’s basketball has never been watchable till now. It didn’t matter if it’s high school or professional basketball the ticket prices are $28 per game. Games Indiana is scheduled to play have tickets over $4000. Generally the WNBA, National Women's Soccer League, Women's Professional Football League, women’s professional softball complain they aren’t getting paid enough. The only way to get paid more is by TV viewers and selling seats for the gymnasium. Again that is another thing that the NBA helps with. Every WNBA Record Caitlin Clark Set or Broke During Her Rookie Season.
I would guess there would have been tons of Iowa people buying tickets for the Lynx-Fever game in MN. No way they are all going to buy half season tix in order to get them. This may a large backfire foe them.
I love Caitlin Clark and Dave Portnoy. Yet is the Olympic Games the appropriate stage to promote a popular player in lieu of who you believe are the best players? By the end of the season, CC achieved first WNBA team honours, and deservedly so, but had she shown that sustained ability by mid year? I was all in favour of CC being on Team USA, but not because of popularity. It had to be on merit, and unfortunately, that was not quite unequivacal by that stage. I do think she could have been considered for the team on merit tho, even if equivocal. Most people of credibility would have agreed. Only the haters would have objected, and they should always be ignored.
