      CC is going to be a mover and shaker, she's just getting started. This is a girl who took the WNBA by storm, and while all the old biddies were crying as she shattered their records, and hater like Devil Reese were moving on to the porn industry, she was busy spreading her fame to the golf course, drawing a whole new class of fans, and then making deals to buy her own soccer team, automatically guaranteeing a major audience for anyone wanting to sign her to a sporting line, but you have to bring a suitcase full of money now, her network of fans is spreading to all sports. She's not just the every day jock, she's a business women, who's as talented off court as she is on court.

      in an olympic year, zero wnba athletes should be time athletes of the year. if you want a woman, go with simone biles, gabby thomas etc. etc. etc. etc. Averaging under 20 points a game and many turnovers per game while bringing viewership and excitement to a league that plays only 40 games is not athlete of the year worthy. this is a response to her being one of the most trending stories of the year, not the actual athlete of the year.

    • @survivrs
      @survivrs 29 дней назад +2

      @@1bbbbbaaaaa She wasn't an Olympic athlete, but while you're at it, perhaps nobody else should be given the award who goes to the Olympics. That would include Simone, so no gymnasts should have been named athlete of the year either. You do know that Caitlin went from the regular season right into the NCAA tournament, playing all the way to the national championship game, right after that was the draft, and right after that she had to play 11 games in 20 days. She didn't even know her teammates or their plays yet, and yet she broke 62 records as a rookie. I don't have enough time to go through everything she did in college, but she broke just about every record that could be broken. She is a generational player.

    • @1bbbbbaaaaa
      @1bbbbbaaaaa 29 дней назад

      @@survivrs my comment read, "in an olympic year, zero wnba players should be given athlete of the year" ... because olympic athletes are a far bigger draw than any wnba player regardless if they are generational or break records. attracting 15,000 to a home game and over a million views at times does not equate in any way shape or form to the impact of global olympic sport.

    • @survivrs
      @survivrs 29 дней назад

      @@1bbbbbaaaaa She's also shown great proficiency at golf. Something nobody was aware of until last year when she was chosen to be the amateur paired with pro Zach Johnson. Last month she was invited to another Pro-Am tournament in Florida, teamed with world player Nelly Korda. She was even more impressed with Caitlin's game considering how rarely she gets on a course. I'd bet if you put her in a soccer game, she would compete well since she didn't quit playing soccer until high school when she decided to focus strictly on basketball. I think she earned that title, along with the rest she was awarded. Funny thing, when she is getting interviewed about her game, she will go through every teammate and their contributions to the game before she ever says a word about her own game.

      I do think that swoops has gotten better at toning it down- or at least trying to get the stats correct now when she talks her ish. But she just can’t help herself!
      I also think that people in the business know this too. So they keep giving swoops a platform, then asking her to talk about Caitlin. It’s basically like rage baiting for views. People are going to tune into hear swoops make a fool of herself seething with jealousy, or the few that agree with her will tune in to feel good hearing someone hate on Clark. Either way, interviewers know it’s going to get views! Meanwhile, swoops is just under the impression that these people value her opinion. Instead, they’re just baiting her to show her immaturity and tactlessness. That’s not what she wants to be known for, but again, she has nothing else in her bag to get back at CC other than harsh words.

      I'm a Clark fan because I'm a pure sports fan.
      So here's what I say, she is probably not the absolute best in the WNBA but she is one of the top three,,,two. But here's the rub. I worry there is just too much Caitlin Clark. Nothing!!!!Not a single thing is forever. Everything has a point where there is no where left to go. I'm fearing this for Caitlin. SHE PLAYED ONE SEASON and she's already in the Hall of Fame and has broken every WNBA record there ever was or ever will be. Really?
      This second season will be a Jordan and Bird, James, Curry, Magic all the great ones sophomore seasons rolled into one for Caitlin Clark. We never layed anywhere near the hype and expectation on any of those legends that we now have on Clark's shoulders.
      Every human regardless of their super human attributes has a breaking point. Maybe Clark doesn't. IDK no one knows,,,,,,, but?.
      What if some of the talented players figure Clark out? What if they find the kryptonite and begin to shut Clark down? What if there are no new records broken no milestones reached. This circus has made nearly impossible for Clark to have just a regular season.8
      And, the girls that Hated Clark, Now Truly Hate Clark. They will need to respond one way or another, mark me. If they don't their own fans will loose faith,,,,think they sold out. Yes Clark's sophomore season may make her think she should have played more golf at Iowa.
      I hope she gifts all of her teammates well come Christmas cause she's gonna need them. Clark's going to need them to do what not not One did last year. If she wants to survive the full season, shes going to need her teammates to step up and be teammates and help protect. If they don't, Clark won't last the season. They tried to end her last season with the eye poke. They won't make the same mistake twice, pray it's not a knee or shoulder. My fingers are crossed.

    • @joaquinmenendez2059
      @joaquinmenendez2059 Месяц назад

      @user-zw2gq6ir5o Well said, as well as bringing up some concerns.
      We can only hope that the WNBA front office is fully aware that losing Caitlin Clark now will only damage the league as a whole and set the WNBA back to its primitive state in was in before Clark's arrival.
      The league will always have your typical injuries because they're to be expected.
      Supposedly Kathy Engelbert and Company have hired more experienced referees. Not for the sake of protecting Clark, but for the protection of every player in the league, and more importantly protecting the integrity of the game.
      The players who have demonstrated resentment toward Clarke are the ones that are near the end of their careers. They don't benefit from Caitlin lifting the league to newer heights.
      And there will be more exciting players coming out of college and into the league. But Caitlin Clark is a gem, a once in a lifetime player the league desperately needed. And someone who can make all the difference in the world.
      There is a false misconception that Clark is only known for her logo threes.
      I'll be 67 February, and I have seen all the greats play, as far back with Jerry West in the 60's. And the WNBA wasn't even in my vocabulary until the day I saw Caitlin Clark play. And after only seeing her rookie season, and highlights with Iowa, I can comfortably say with conviction that Caitlin Clark is the best passer I've ever seen. What makes her a phenomenal passer is because she keeps the ball alive. She doesn't stop dribbling to find someone open (a lot of players do that, men and women). She a chemist on the floor discovering the right formula that works. While keeping the ball alive, it enables her to change her position causing the defense to change their position as well, without knowing that Clark is the one repositioning them.
      By the time you think that you've figured out Clark's chess moves, it's too late.
      My apologies, I can't say enough about Clark. And I'm from the West Coast. No one can say that I'm just being biased. I'm just being honest.
      You learn more losing to Caitlin Clark than you do losing to any other team.
      She's a beast.

    Gotta stop with the Reese stuff. Reese is no longer relevant to any CC conversation and was only before because of controversy not talent. So let’s nice on. Yes it’s nice to throw Reese under the bus now and then because she’s a self centered idiot but that doesn’t mean we should be subject to it anymore.

    this is where Clark BELONGS, she worked her a$$ off, had refs against her, had players going out their way to attack her. the only reason she didn't go further in the playoffs was because she got hit in the eye. which again the refs being against her just let it go and did nothing. and the player who did it... you all know who I'm talking about. she goes making jokes about what she did.
    but let's put all that aside. how many records she broke in her first year? how many stats did she lead the board in?
    she was so good, the upped the guard on her, so much so that even Steph Curry was saying they are guarding her harder than he's ever been guarded. What other Rookies were guarded and attacked as hard as she was this season... go on... i'll wait for you to come back and say: "But..." but nothing! now run along, back to your echo chamber.

    Because if CC paid attention to any of the idiocy that falls out of her mouth, it probably only gave Caitlin more drive. She’s competitive af, and swoops is better known for her hatred than for her career. She’s too old to even try to beat CC on the court, so all she’s got is her shii talk to beat her with. It’s only making her look like a fool, not Caitlin.

A woman little girls we want looking up to. Humble, straight, religious, no tattoos, actually good at the game in all aspects as well. She had them all beat in the unconscious lvl and thats more than anyone in the league before her could do.

BUT, SHE WILL SOON BE GONE, REMAINING ONLY AS A FADING TOPIC OF DISMISSIVE DISCUSSION.
