    Great tutorial. I have two questions:
    How to flip photo horizontaly?
    How to add watermark (signature or anything else)

    • @PhotoBlue
      @PhotoBlue  3 года назад

      To flip a photo horizontally, there are a series of 8 icons at the left side of the bottom of the screen. The two icons look like undo icon (semi circular line with an arrow at one end). Those actually rotate the photo you have selected and can change the orientation between horizontal and vertical. Also, you can go to the image menu and their are three rotation controls: Clockwise, counter clockwise, and 180 degrees. Those controls are to change the photo orientation and to flip it upside down or right side up.
      Currently, there is no add watermark feature although I believe Nikon Capture NX2 had it. NX Studio is a new piece of software and it is based partly on Capture NX2, so hopefully when Nikon lets out the next version of NX Studio watermarks will be one of the features they add.

      @@PhotoBlue tnx for answer. I already explored those 3 commands but they don't offer what I asked. Horizontal or vertical flip is actually a mirror. You can't achieve that with rotations. In other softwares it is clearly separate command: Flip or Mirror with options horizontal or vertical.

    Nice feature but its usefulness is limited by the lack of batch editing funcionality in NX Studio.

    Hi does this software have lens correction - ie pin cushion etc

    • @PhotoBlue
      @PhotoBlue  3 года назад

      Perspective control, camera correction, and lens correction are actually the last three functions under adjustments. I am not sure how well the auto distortion control supports third party lens. Generally, photo editing software uses profiles of a particular make and model of a lens to help correct the standard problems found in the lens, so there may not be profiles for lens that were not made by Nikon. You can also use the perspective control function in NX Studio to correct some problems.
