Enjoyed the image overlays very much. The song is as lovely as the first version. I well remember that video with it. Any newbie wanting to know what the deep connection between newly released Barnabas and his lost love Josette was will not be disappointed. This video answers the question of his torment and subsequent guilt over what he did to Maggie. Very well done.
@aglistningvale I know how you felt. The way I looked at it, from Barnabas' perspective he hadn't been a vampire very long and was still very ill equipped to deal with what he had become and then find himself in the very strange world of 1967 only added to his pain and initial madness. This song fits the situation very well. Fortunately, his sister Sarah reawakened something of what Barnabas had once been, what he would rather be.
I find myself repeatedly watching this particular video montage and it seems I'm emotionally overwhelmed every single time. I couldn't help but shed a few meaningful tears to express what a beautiful piece this turned into. You've captured the story so well with song and visual and I'm very appreciative of the justice you brought to the love of Barnabas and Josette.
oh great! Well thanks for your purchase! I figured I'd let you know in case you wanted check out AnnMarie on other projects. She was the lead singer for The East Village Opera Company on Universal Records, and House Of Red and Cherry. All of which I played drums for. Glad you like this arrangement. I've always loved this song and envisioned it with more orchestration and vocal arranging.
Hi, the vocalist I used is not Sylvia Tosun, it's Ann Marie Milazzo. Sylvia is on some musical interludes from this album, but not this song. I'm glad you enjoy my version of this song. It's available on Traveler which can be purchased on my website.
@aglistningvale All I can say is "WOW!!!" after reading your comment. I had tried to post this song when I first started making videos. ( Sarah Mclaughlin's version) My video was terrible so I'm glad YT yanked it. This is more what I had in mind for the lyrics. Thank you so much for viewing!
It just dawned on me that Josette's engagement ring, between 3:10-3:13, is very similar (although a smaller center stone) to the one which belonged to Princess Diana and is now being worn by Prince William's love.
While I like the music and the clips used, I think there was too much overlay to the point of distraction. Otherwise, nice vid. :-) (Just my opinion; not a "hater" here)
From that point, Barnabas more or less "settled" by marrying Julia, who in turn had always loved him more than anything else. (This is according to the audio sequel "Return To Collinwood"). Josette and Vicky were more or less "trophies" for Barnabas, and in the later years of the show, he never even mentioned them.
@@nassauguy48 True and if he had married Josette she was a spoiled rich girl who would have pouted every time she wanted her way. Julia would have loved him more.
BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

El amor se convirtió en tragedia.
