Two whammies....right off the bat! 😛
From near the end of its only season, based on flashback clips. The show was an even bigger success in Britain.
If Peter was still alive today he would become the host of wipeout, but not this version of it.
2/16/1989 airdate here, since the "Today in Music History" mentions that date in 1966
Also, the "Stairway to Heaven" in the Neil Sedaka category predates the more familiar Led Zeppelin song by nine years.
