@@JohnJohn4800-g9vcorrect but I have some big rooms where the E60 is in the back of the room and the PC is in the front of the room or in a rack far away. Today I’m using a USB over CAT6 adapter but it would be cool to just plug it into the network and get the video over IP.
@@ScottSchramm I also tried to google this, but I can’t get a clear answer. As I understand it, the E60 doesn’t support video over network. I don’t know if a future firmware update can fix this, or if the E60 is a bad product or hardware limited. The E70 has video network connection, but I believe that this is only Poly proprietary LLN network protocol. Not a more open and flexible protocol like NDI, which maybe can do what you seek, but then you need a different camera manufacturer.
Thanks as usual. :)
I always lol when you say "poo-ie" instead of PoE
Yesh thx sort of Dutch pro announcement 😉 ☕️
So the E60 is now updated so it can connect with ethernet, without using USB? 9:00
All IP range products review would be wonderful :)
I am also curious on this. On the PC side, how would you "convert" the IP connection from the camera to USB for use in Zoom, etc.
@@ScottSchramm if you are only using the E60, I believe that the E60 has a USB connection straight to the PC
