Good on you, boys. Never leave someone behind. I didn't think of it as 5 "RUclipsr's" coming to the rescue, more like the dream team of off-road mechanics!!!
I don't miss my diesel, the DEF just gets so annoying. Plus, in the back of my head I was always waiting for some emissions related issue to leave me stranded.
I am glad all came out fine. Going out of Needles up Beef Basin Rd you peak at 8,000ft. That’s not the best choice considering the snow pack this year and the weather during EJS. What good is your onx if you can’t make good choices. This is serious staff specially when you take your family with you. It’s always a good idea to do your research ahead. Again, happy that everyone came out fine and thank you the video.
That was a very large day. It got a little western once we hit snow. I'm looking forward to taking the wagoneer back after the build. We'll have to go hit some trails.
Quadra trac low range unit was an option, it bolts on the back of the t case in about 10 minutes. 2.26 to 1 low range if I remember correctly. It shifts with a little lever? The center diff lock is vacum operated separately.
Funny story: I was just talking to a guy a few hours north of me (I'm in Missoula) about buying his 78 E350 so I can do a 4x4 swap on it. The paint is not awesome, and I was envisioning how I might paint it. Then, you guys rolled up on that white van and it was nearly identical to what I was imagining. I find it both strange, and amusing.😂

Have you ever thought about taking a overlanding trip to South America? There's only so many places you can go in America. That would be interesting! Maybe your sponsors can take part in that!

Those days make the best camp stories, living our best lives vs in front of the TV every night
This is kind of why I like solo wheeling, then you only have to worry about yourself. Good work making sure everybody got out though.👍
I did that loop out of elephant hill. It’s awesome but it’s a really long day in decent weather. We barely made it out on fuel
Look at you go Shaun, Just a little while ago i saw 200k now you are at 217K! Well deserved!
250K -> 500K share with your friends!
I see 218K - 1 day later. Good Job!

Even in turmoil with a team of friends that will help you makes the time actually fun and something to talk about next campfire time
@11:33 "or whatever the f..... (Thought process: Damn, we're on RUclips)." Then both of you proceed to laugh because you get it 😂

Would love to get out and wheel with you sometime!
“It’s been like frozen ice.” ”It is… ice *is* frozen.” 😂
I remember them old wagoners diff lock in glove compartment and lowrange was under front seat
Longest week you had was a night on a mountain rescue mission. Crazy, but great group and never leave a man behind.
Great videos, alot to learn from what you do❤
Saw a couple of these IG stories. What a trip!
I'm glad they were able to get out. Kudos to Nate for coming and going such a distance. Great video.

What gladiator is this? the trim?
What a major ordeal. By the way, I’m amazed that your camera can see so much in the middle of the night. The sky is incredible. What camera is that?
That's really good night video. Is that a Sony A7S?

What a crazy story! Glad everyone is okay!
Another epic adventure, and some great video. Better than the Discovery Channel. Thanks Shaun!
Thanks!
Planning... essential to success on adventures...the worst scenario makes the best plan.
That poor Wagoneer has been disabled for way longer than just that one trip lol

Another awesome video - all the worst recovery stories usually turn into some of the best memories.

2 vehicles low on fuel and the rescue team brings enough gas for a chainsaw. I’m sure it all worked out.
